15 or 16?

My 12 will be paid off in a couple months. I want to get a 15/16.

How hard is it for the dealer to find the exact car I would want?

Still deciding on a color but I definitely want the PP and Recaros, leaning towards a base GT. I really don't want leather.

Would it be better to order a 16 or try to find a 15?

I see tons of '15s still on the Ford lots, so I bet you can find what you want no problem.

Get prices for both, I would pay slightly more for the 2016 because of the Sync3.

Maybe 1k more, but that's my limit.

If you're thinking about the base GT then I doubt you much care about Sync 2 versus Sync 3. Just speculating.

If you know and are fixed upon exactly what you want, then I'd order it, personally... that's what I did. I was particular about getting exactly what I wanted, no more, no less. GT, PP, ESP, stick, Magnetic.

If you're a little more flexible, I think ConspicuousConsumption is right, you can find a 2015 on a lot.

If you are getting a base, go with 15 if you can find the car you want and the options on it. If not, order a 16.

So far nothing but I am still gonna look.

If I order I should be looking at 3 months right as a wait?

Check ebay as well. You might have to travel for one but they are out there.

Yup, 3 freakin, neverending months ! Lol
But at least you get exactly what you want, and it hasnt been sitting on a parking lor, nor violently test driven by just anyone ;)

there are base gt's all over this country. you can get a base gt from koons ford in baltimore for 29-32k

that's the easiest way to do it and how I found mine in balitmore and discovered Koon's. It took me two and half weeks of searching constantly. That's because I wanted premier trim and the car was 1 of 2 in the whole country at the time loaded out with premier trim and it was a PITA to find. Base models are much easier to find.

search for it on there just click the window sticker link or drop the vin into ford's cotus site to see what the car has.
