A few photos I snapped real quick. Plasti dipped the hood vents, 35% tint and installed the black 5.0 emblems as well. This is the stance the car should have come with from the factory. Rides great as well.

Looks great, I bet with another 10mm out the wheels would look even better!

 Thanks!

Yep, I agree. But I won't run anymore than 1/4" on the stock studs. It helped a little and will hold me over until I can get some new wheels with the proper offset for a flusher look.

Nice looking ride! How are you liking the Gibson exhaust?

I have grown to like the exhaust. Admittedly, the drone was a little much for me at first. My 07 had a blower, cams, longtubes, o/r x pipe with frpp gta mufflers. It's sounded perfect with no drone. So i got spoiled with that setup. It was very loud. Lol

But after a few Hundred miles, the Gibson seems to have mellowed down some and I'm sure I subconsciously learned to drive it to where it doesn't annoy me. I love the deepness and exhaust note. Aggressive, deep and slightly exotic sounding. Tips look nice as well.

The clamps they supplied where garbage and I replaced them with some 3" Lap Joint clamps. What it should have came with originally.

Best part is the price. Half the cost of most other kits. So overall, I am happy with the Gibson Catback.

If a person doesn't mind low - moderate drone, then I'd recommend it.

I really struggled with my decision on which system to order. Gibson, ARH, MRT, FRPP, Corsa, SW were all on my radar. Ended up choosing Corsa for their no drone guarantee. A little side work and some Christmas money helped me decide!

I hear ya! one of the toughest decisions for a Mustang owner, which exhaust? Lol

Initially I kept reading there wasn't any drone with the Gibson. Hence why I was a little disappointed at first because there is moderate drone. I had my heart set on the Ford Racing Sport system but had a hard time justifying the $1300 for only a catback exhaust. I paid $625 shipped for the Gibson. So I used the money i saved to get the lowering springs, tint and emblems. Figured worst case, id sell it and buy something else later on down the. But it has grown on me. The exhaust note is perfect!

I almost went the same rout (Gibson) and use the savings on other mods also.
Did you install the springs yourself? I was considering getting the same set but not sure if I want to do that in my driveway. Fronts don't look too bad, was concerned about the rears.
Do you have any clearance issues? Looks like the front is still sits high enough even with the drop.

Yes, I Installed them myself. However I am a Master Tech and I do all my own work to my vehicles.

That being said, the springs are not bad to install. I did them on my garage floor using jack stands on one of the snow days off from work. Took me about 2.5 hours to knock out. You will need a spring compressor for the fronts. It's pretty straight forward. I did one corner at a time all the way around.

No rubbing issues at all. Haven't scraped anything either. I went pro kit because I didnt want to bottom out/scrape everywhere I go. I think the 1" drop is perfect for a daily driver. Looks much better than stock. It is still settling. Actually sits 1/8" lower than when I took the pics the other day. Going to align it at work today and see how far it is off.

Ride is fantastic. A bit stiffer and more connected to the road. Goes flat around corners and less brake dive. Perfect for what I was looking for. I have ran Eibachs on my past Thunderbirds, Stangs and even my Fusion sport. They have always served me well so I stick with them. And 50 bucks cheaper than the Steeda's. I haven't seen any complaints with the Eibachs or steedas. They both perform well and give a nice stance.

Thanks for the info. Sounds like an awesome set up. Please post up about the alignment. Going to have to add these to my mod list.

Will do!

Also, I highly suggest having an impact when installing the springs. Makes life much easier.

I'm SO glad someone went this route. I too, plan on going with some spacers for the stock wheels (i like them) with some Eibach Sportline springs. I prefer a slightly more aggressive drop. Used to driving slammed cars, so there won't be any issues for me. Besides, its only like a 1/4" difference from the Pro Kit.

I also have the Gibson. LOVE it. Lots of compliments. The drone can get annoying, but if you know the RPM ranges, it makes it easy to avoid. Looks great man. I'll be doing this to mine soon.

Sexy low! With that wheel gap I find it hard to justify the extra low of the Sportline springs.
