it has an engine!
It won't be 400-425 whp stock. Ford has already announced it is 345 HP at the crank. No doubt with the right mods and tune it will get there, the Mustang 2.3t is already getting those numbers with bolt on mods.
I didnt say that it would be putting that out stock. You misread. The mustang is out of efficiency at that power. Its being stretched to make that. The rs wouldnt be.

I thought the stock turbo was maxing out around 380 WHP with full bolt-ons and fuel. Did Adam hit 400? I know the big turbo upgrade sits right around there safely.

I think he hit like 396whp, but said he does not like to push it that hard.

Lol at the 0-60. This is the pre production model and the 0-60 is way off. 2015 Sti with more weight And 305hp does 4.7

totally different cars. cross shopped both. Got the Mustang for the fun fast car, got the ST as a second car. It's fun as hell, and I love it. But hate that it's a front drive car though.

I feel that they are totally different though, for different people/different uses. They are each great in different ways, but I feel that they are in no way truly comparable.

With the improvements in the newest Mustang, the gap is bigger between the GT and ST.

But the RS? totally different ball of wax. But really it just makes it even more different than a stang.

personally I can't say to own one or the other. Own both.

Not a question for me. I guess I am just a Mustang guy, The RS holds no interest for me. Kinda like a 2016 Camaro.

I'm considering a pre-owned one down the line as a beater/shitty day car. I wont really baby it like my Stang. My wife will be taking the SUV more frequently and this car will be more down my alley. I will equip it with Michelin AS3.

Super excited to drive it - I really think the RS will be the Evo and STI I could never get myself to buy.

Will it ever replace the GT? No. Nothing can replace the 5.0, the looks of the Stang for me, and the feeling behind the wheel of a Mustang. The interior is also much nicer than Focus.

I have always been a Mustang Fanatic and wasn't really interested in Hot Hatches however this is a nice looking car. Hmmmmm I have a 2012 5.0 and was thinking about trading it in a 350, however this has me interested in adding it to my stable.:headbang:

I still have not ruled out trading in my '15 5.0 for the RS. IF dealer markup is at NONE and they offer a fair amount on trade. Lots of variables that have to come into play there tho.
