Everyone says that they know someone that broke opg’s. They say they broke them on their way to church with there grandma at a stoplight. Then you find out they were leaving the strip club showing off holding RPMs at the limiter for five minutes
https://www.mustang6g.com/forums/threads/opg-failed-last-night-street-car.63037/page-17 also he said futher in the thread he was on the 3.6 pulley on the whipple tune, also whipple does keep stock limiter its set at 7500 on my car

Paxton or vortech. You'll have plenty left over for upgrades. Beefcake kit comes with injectors and bap.

I’m telling you unless the operator causes it they won’t brake

then your limiter is 7000 set by ford
Right but on the whipple tune it’s not 7000 it’s 7500 and It’s easy to hit limiter when you’re driving hard and the tires are spinning. I didn’t throw a blower on my car to baby it.

You're referencing a 4yr old thread where someone bounced off the limiter and used an aftermarket balancer. Seems to be more failures with aftermarket balancers. 18+ have a better balancer and oil pump housing. The only 18+ failures I can find and crank snapper 5000s, 10 rib setups and or aftermarket balancer. If you need a 10 rib setup, you'll need a built motor anyway.

If you can’t shift before the limiter your car has more power than you can handle and that is operator error

I’m not worried about hitting limiter because I did the opg and crank gear.

Well if you want to risk it that’s your business but saying there is no risk is not true.
Never said there’s 100% no risk. Stock gears on a stock coyote can fail, Shit happens. I’m saying that if they fail it’s not just from boost.
