This is EXACTLY what happens to me. I can't tell if the trans is just SLOW... or if it's hazing the tires to redline and falling on it's face. I think my edelbrock warranty tune has a redline of 7,600.
Yea I wouldnt recommend the shifter method in first gear, especially with a supercharger lol, definitely spinning to redline probably. Shifter method starting in 2nd may work but I got my D-mode tune adjusted to where if you downshift in D it will hold the new gear for 35 seconds or until you hit your shift point. Paddle shifting is fine too I actually prefer that because I can hold a gear near redline while spinning without it upshifting and since my limiter is so high (8200) I very rarely hit that even while spinning at WOT it just seems to stay around 7800-8000.

These cars are definitely different than what I'm used to. In my 94 GT with an AODE and 3,500 stall... if I lose traction, it'll blow off the tires and you KNOW it. The car will kick out to the side. My 19.... is completely different feeling. It's hard to know it's actually spinning. It just doesn't set you back in the seat as hard until it hooks. It almost feels like it's pulling timing and is detuned, but people racing me or following tell me it's hazing the tires and leaving rubber. Yes, Advance Track is turned off. Does it not turn off everything? Perhaps an extra "crowd saver" mod is still in there somewhere? lol

Warranty tune may still have some torque management in there. I had to have a few revisions to have mine perfected. I leave my advancetrac on but TCS off and it only kicks in if I go too sideways.
