This thread will contain my videos of racing at my local quarter mile track, so far my best e.t. is 13.486 seconds @ 102.07 mph (1.91 seconds 60 foot). I am hoping to break that record this upcoming winter at the track.

The car is a 2018 Ford Mustang Ecoboost with the 10 speed automatic and 3:15 gears, my car is completely bone stock currently (no mods at all).

A lot of videos out there showing modded Ecoboost Mustangs at the track but very few videos show completely bone stock ones.

That’s a very impressive time for stock. Congrats. The Vette driver is either good or very lucky with that double zero light in the first video.

Thanks! The driver of that C7 Z06 is a cool guy and a good driver. It was fun racing him but beating him would be tough with my car unless I put over $10,000 on overnight parts from Japan. The VMP EcoBoost Mustang might have trouble winning against that Vette.

edit:

Did you mean the first race in the first video? That is my time with the double zero light:

^^The quarter mile is horrible in Orlando, FL during the summer because it is hot and humid; my local track does a great job prepping but the optimal conditions usually are around December to January only and it is hot the rest of the time. Around February to March there sometimes is a cold day or two but that is rare.

It is hot and humid in June, probably mid to high 13s on the quarter mile assuming the car is cooled down between runs and not hot lapped. I usually avoid the track during the hot summer and go for it when it gets cold.

I ran the car in March, it was just a tad warmer than January and the car was running 13.6s to 13.9s.
