Question for anyone who had these spacers; How visible ate they behind the wheels? They seem pretty bright and shiny. Can you see them behind the dark wheels? Has anyone painted them?
You won't even notice once installed. I was worried about the exact same thing but you can barely see them once installed and your actually looking for them.

Mine are already black (GarageLine) so its hardly noticeable since the wheels itself are black as well. However the AM one are bright silver and that will stick out like a sore thumb.

I thought the exact same thing. Rough up the outside perimeter of the spacer, than flat black heat paint. Done!

Not trying to be a know it all or state the obvious. I think what you're supposed to do is...park the car on level ground like your garage. Get yourself a 4ft. Level. Stand the level upright next to the wheel just touching the edge of the fender for flush fit estimate, and plumb the level vertically. Than measure with a tape over to the wheel rim and tire face for an acurate estimate of the spacer thickness that you want.

Yeah, this is quite possibly the easiest thing to measure yourself.

Also isn't very helpful to post the wheel width without the offsets to know how they would sit...

You really can't see them once they are installed. Sticking out like a sore thumb is a gross overstatement.

Hey Ro - Without having them on site and in-stock to physically check it's a little bit of a difficulty. Being said the AMR's are manufactured to be close if not identical in spec with OE wheels.

Being said if you're to look at most if not all of the setups on here it will give you a great idea of how they'll look.

Above all you can purchase and test fit one wheel and if it's not something that you're all about I'll bend the rules and take a return on them.

Sorry about the delay - Car show wrap up!

Alex

1.5" Spacer Reference

Short story—a month back, I was sent a set of four AM 1" spacers. One pair was correct, the other pair had the same box but different spacers inside. RMA’d and got put on the waiting list for the correct spacers. Still on the waiting list and decided to bite the bullet and try the AM 1.5" or 38mm spacers.

Here’s my setup:
15 GT with Performance pack
Stock PP wheels and tires
CJ pony parts lowering springs. Drop (R)1", (F)1.5".
No camber kit but had an alignment done after spring install.
Rear AM 1" spacer and front AM 1.5" spacer

No problems with rub on full turn. Will rub slightly on big dips going at speed. Only tested on city roads, they are a bit harsh. Going to leave it on and test for a few weeks both highway and city driving. I can probably switch the rear spacers to the front and the fronts to the back if rubbing becomes a problem. The wheel is turned a little bit in the last picture which makes it look wider than it really is. Never was into the stance thing; just wanted to see how much of a physical difference it was and of course for reference. Quite happy with the outcome, either way. Hope this helps.

Thanks all. Who knows, if you’re running springs like the pro-kits with less of a drop in front—mine has a 1.5" drop in front, there might be no rub at all. Just a thought.
