at what power level would 1 3/4 LT headers become a restriction , i am planning on doing a whipple blower plus e85 setup and currently have the kooks 1 3/4 headers . not doing any wild all out race build . just wondering if i should go 1 7/8 with the whipple.

I don’t have any concrete info one way or the other, but if I already had those headers on the car I wouldn’t be changing them out for 1/8” unless I was going for huge power. I expect you won’t experience any meaningful performance impact at least up to a power level that will easily damage your stock engine.

Save your time and money for now.

I would like to be between 700-750rwhp. And yes I agree I would hate to have to swap out those 1 3/4 for 1 7/8 .. I have the 1 3/4 because I got a great deal on them from a forum member.

They won't. Bigger ones will make a little bit more power but Cobra guys used to make 1000 all day with the BBK 1-5/8 back in the old days
