I'm looking to take advantage of Lethal's Father's Day sale, and snag some headers with an x-pipe. I want an American Racing set, but I'm wondering if 1/8" is worth $336

Thoughts?

1/8" times 8 runners = 1" of extra plumbing

It should make a nice difference. When you do something like headers, do it right and do it one time.

If you really want the best price on headers, send a PM to some of the vendors for a quote. I saved about $200 on a cat-back and ARH cost more. Just a tip you may want to consider.

we can def help you out with some great specials with all the top brands.

arh, sw, kooks, sp,

as far as tube size, personal preference, if your def 100% always going to be n/a I think the 1 3/4 would be fine, any chance of power adder in the future, def get the 1 7/8

these cars like to breathe, and the power differences are very close, the 1 3/4 will get you a tad more on the low end, the 1 7/8 will be stronger on the big end
