02 Sensor Longevity?

Just wanted to see what the overall concensus was about 02 sensors. Mine are still OEM original from 2017. Cars been on E85 for about 10k miles now. Boosted since 2020, Whipple for 4 years then ESS for almost 2. So far no issues and my Trims always seem solid. Car has 37,000miles on it now. My LTH long tubes to have slightly angled bungs. I plan to just ride out with them. How has high HP longevity been for you guys?

4 S550's. 2 Boosted, 2 NA e85. never had to change one OEM o2. A few cars had upwards of 70k on them as well.

Sweet. I didnt plan on changing mine since the car is running great, I definitely wont unless some issue pops up.

If you have both O2's installed and OEM cats still in the car i think the ECM should be able to detect a failing upstream wideband O2 before it becomes an issue.
I assume your downstream sensors are on spacers, but if the heater fails or the sensor goes open circuit it should still report it to you, if its working then you should be fine.

OEM O2’s should last up to 8 years/80k (whichever comes first), that is Ford’s Emissions Warranty. That is also providing the vehicle is stock, is maintained, isn’t being used under “extreme” conditions (ie: fleet service, drag racing, road racing or any other “off road” timed events, and is using the suggested fuel/oil as recommended by the Manufacturer).
