Did any of you take advantage of the 0% interest on the Mustang that Ford was offering a while back? Im finally close to pulling the trigger and trying to decide if it is worth the wait for it to come back around again. They have it on some other cars right now but not the Mustang.

0 percent is less likely with the Feds raising rates. It might not happen again for a long time but not impossible. Don't get to hung up at 0, if you can get 2.9 or similar it's still very cheap money

It is the opposite. As the Fed raises interest rates and banks raise lending rates, car companies offering 0% becomes more of a selling feature.

Either way, .25% doesn't change anything.

Disagree! Do you actually think Ford lends their own money? It's not how it works
This is also the best selling sports car in USA, you think they need more selling points?
Thats was only a short time deal to clear out the 2015's

This is how it works.. Ford Motor Company buys down the rate with Ford Credit. Ford Credit doesn't offer low rates out of the kindness of their hearts, they have revenue targets to hit. The .25% increase in the Fed funds rate means Ford may have to hand over another $100 to Ford Credit to offer the same finance rate as a previous month as a selling point.

That is overall how it works. Specific to the Mustang, the rates offered will be directly tied to supply and demand. If the 2016 Camaro launch softened Mustang sales and if Ford doesn't pull back production to compensate, we could see 0% in the spring if inventories build. A lot of "ifs" there.
