Ill definitely try that later on tonight! I was starting to think I had gotten a bad batch of gas or I had a boost leak but I'll definitely do some experimenting and try and come up with a solution.
The worst feeling ever is being stoked about a new tune and then your car somehow becomes slower.
Any amount of spin kills it... Much better to start off slower and then put her to the floor.

heck you could have bad gas... And going back to stock will show if you have a hardware issue (since you already know what u run 0-60 there).

I just hit 5.9(still stock) with the ac on and I'm thinking it actually helped me. Since the compressor doesn't shut till wot when I launched the engine bogged a bit and I didn't get much wheelspin at all. During that time the boost was building pretty rapidly and then the car took off.

Next level AC Boost strats

How's it going guys? Okay I'm back to give an update on my horrible 0-60 with the cobb tune and I'm even more confused and frustrated and I even got to the point of where I uninstalled the tuner. So stock, I was getting around 5.6-5.8 pretty consistently, and every time I do my 0-60, I use the exact same procedure with nearly the same weather and variables.
I reflash back to stock tune after the 6.2 with the OTS tune, and get a 6.0 multiple times.
I flash back to the stage 1 cobb 91 map and now it's at 6.5-6.7?! It feels so slow. I just don't understand what's happening. I uninstalled the tuner and I am going to run this tank of gas out and try again I guess. Any thoughts everyone?
Also when I have the cobb OTS tune installed, it smells very different. My friend and I equated to the smell of a burning clutch, but it is an auto...

Does it feel faster with the the when you do a highway pull? It could just be an issue of getting used to launching it with more power.

Honestly, it feels faster in first gear but it just falls on it's face after that. The shifts are slow and the car just feels more sluggish.

Right when you reflash the OAR starts out at 0. It takes time to adjust and will be very conservative until this happens pull up your OAR gauge and see what it's tacking. I'm guessing you reflashed and then went right into trying to do 0-60 pulls to have the same conditions side by side. Cobb has a whole write up on this.

That definitely makes sense for the 6.7 time, but when I was getting 6.0 with the tune last night it had been after a long spirited drive of about 150 miles so unless it takes quite some time to adjust I still think the gas may be the culprit, or I legitimately have the slowest ecoboost around haha.

in LA I hardly get the chance to do 0-60 pulls. Tonight I came upon a beautiful, flat and wide side road. I didn't get a chance to heat my tires up at all so I just revved up to about 2.5k and matted it. Tons of wheel spin through second but somehow I pulled a 5.2. It makes me curious on what the car has in it with some grip or even a better launch. I only have Torries 91 Tune so I'd say I'm pretty impressed with the results!

That's pretty much the same result I have had so far with his tune. 5.2 0-60 with plenty of spin. He's working on getting me setup for E30 right now so hopefully that 4 second barrier will be long gone once I get some tires that stick. Wish I had a clutch to slip...

I ran a two-step on my last turbo/manual car, so essentially it's a non-issue.

Realistically I'll take the auto turbo car and just wait until I get stickier tires and it won't be a problem;)

I rather enjoy the new auto trans, just sometimes I miss my manual...sometimes.

I installed my tune last night (Cobb AP 93) and honestly can not feel a difference. I am pretty let down right now by it. I made sure that it was set in slot 1.

Is this the Cobb OTS tune or the MAP one? I would check that the OAR has had time to adjust before judgment, but it's a pretty common complaint on here that the Cobb OTS tune is pretty much nothing. I would message MAPerformance and get a custom tune from Adam

Pretty sure that the of the shelf COBB tune is extremely conservative. You'll wanna talk to someone that tunes with it.

That said, you should feel some difference.

I figured I'd get a few more bolt ons before having Adam tune it. But I still figured I'd notice a difference. Will it be labeled "OAR" under gauges?
