I ran a few 5.2s this weekend. Couldn't get under 5... It was the usual Florida 95F+ and 90-100 humidity weather. I will say though, it was great to see my CATs staying under 130F, after several pulls. Definitely do an IC as a first or second mod.

I should have some gopro videos soon, with flybys, etc.

I got a 1.7 60ft at the track. Not sure what my 0-60 would been. This was with 3.15 gears too.

What is the best way to launch an auto EB? If I power brake it so boost builds it just spins when I launch lol and if I leave without boost...well its just slow off the line then. Still learning this car :)

Timing and throttle control. I usually rev it up around 2k rpms, let off the brake and pretty much floor it. Sport+ with traction control off seems to work best for me.

I'm pretty sure sport+ with traction control off = track mode lol

But yea launching this car seems to be about finding the limits of your tires by testing the launch at different RPMs. tittermary had DRs on so he was able to launch it hard

Yes better tires are a must have for this car I'm learning. Launching with boost just roasts the tires.

I agree the stock tires make it difficult. I Logged a 5.6 last night and after reading some posts here I just remembered I never shut the traction control off at all. Normally with the advancetrac off I'll spin anywhere above 2k rpm unless I find the right balance between letting off the brake and flooring it.

On my tune sport mode shifts sooner, keeping it in the sweet spot. In track it almost hits the rev limiter every time.

actually the stock summer tires aren't too hateful drop pressure to bout 20-22 pounds do a decent burn out get a little heat in them and they rock ok. I pulled 1:75 with them

What mods did you have when you first went into the 12 second range in the quarter mile?
