Do you do it if you've been driving around a lot? If your charge temps are way up and you try it, you'll be pulling power right away. With 17s I'd have expected you to have lower numbers. Try cruising slow, stay out of heavy throttle and bring temps down then try it. Or do it when your car just starts to warm up after you turn it on. Our stock intercoolers stink!

I datalogged my 12.8 run, and 0-60 was 4.464 seconds. But that was at the track. I haven't tried the track app yet.

that does make sense usually I try to make a run when I find an empty road but there are people saying that there making those runs stock ? But I do want to try when the car is cold maybe it does make a difference

Are you running on premium fuel? The heat in Florida plays a factor as well. The Turbos really don't like the kinda heat that Florida gets around this time. As you can see the power can drop by a alot due to it.

1) Make your run at night. Temps here in Orlando rarely dip below 90° during the day. No matter how much cruising you do to try and cool the car off, your times will suffer.
2.) Turn your traction control off.
3.) Launch a bit higher. I had the 17 inch wheels when I ran my 5.6 Try it at 2.2k and see if that helps.
4.) Take first gear all the way to redline. You won't save yourself time by cutting first gear so short. In the quarter mile maybe but not 0-60.

Some things to note:

1. Manuals will be slower than Automatics, in many cases.
2. 7.0 is still very slow.
3. Launch at 1500-2000RPM if you can. This nets me my best times.
4. Traction control set to off.
5. Stability control set to off (hold down traction control button for 10 seconds)
6. Shift fast. I have the automatic, but the guys who post good times in this car with manual are very fast shifters.
7. You may be able to avoid a shift to third to 60. That depends on your gearing, though.
8. Temps do make a difference. Try the run at night. But... even hot as balls, my times are rarely more than .2-.3 seconds off the night time runs.

Stock, a manual EB should post around 5.5 seconds. Probably 5.3-5.4 on a hero run.

Autos should post 5.4 typically, and 5.2 hero runs. That's what I ran stock. With the Unleashed tune, I am running 5.0 typical times, with 4.8 hero runs.

Thanks guys the advice really helped just made a run 6.3s wow big difference was right when I got in the car I made a pull now it's 89 degrees and I can imagine at night I can get under 6 seconds well now I know it's me that needs improvement I thought I has some sort of issue with the car but one thing I feel a bog not the clutch protection I think unless it can vary how much power it cuts right when I launch the car surges forward a little dip and take off I am getting wheel hop is the car trying to stop the wheel hop is that even possible ? But after that dip it takes off and for the intercooler .... junk absolutely junk I made 3 pulls 6.3, 6.8, 7.3 yeah the way this thing heat soaks is crazy but now I wait for night fall oh and a bit of advice form me don't try to make a pull right after driving the car won't help you times lol

Did a few track app runs last night. 7.3 consistent. That was just flooring it and not building boost to launch. Only about 500 miles so far so didn't want to get too crazy.

Did you do the runs after driving or that's the first thing you did when you got in the car it makes a huge difference with the stock intercooler on pull and your heatsoaked

Doesn't make too much difference when stock. Heatsoak isn't an issue on the stock EB unless it's balls hot outside AND you're doing several back-to-back full throttle runs.

Tuned, on the other hand, heatsoak can set in pretty fast. The stock intercooler is just BARELY enough for the motor in stock form. You shouldn't be having a heatsoak issue.

Went out last night to see what my auto non pp could produce. Pretty pleased with a 5.8 in 80 degree temps with only 1300 miles on the motor.
Brake boosted to 2500 trac off in sport mode and shifted at 5500.
