thx
very interesting vids
they have mentioned a lot of high tech stuff, the put on and into the cars
but Keep in mind what he said in the first vid Standing at the back of the car and telling us, that a Millimeter (a fraction of an Inch) does make a huge difference...
so on the one Hand: yes: Boy-racer plastic add ons (huge Spoilers) may have the weirdest effects on a car... to create a reasonable result, you have to fine-tune all aerodynamic components of the car (and the only way to do it, is, rent a windtunnel and start researching...)
on the other Hand he is extremely vague concerning the results of all that work...
even if they got only 3% less drag in the s550 compared to the s197, that does not stand for bad results of their work, as Long as they for instance improved downforce (for highspeed-stability) dramatically...
i wonder why he is so vague. to me he does not seem to be very convinced of the results they achived...
someone proud of real Progress does talk in a completely different way
let us see, when we get the final numbers...

So... more aggressive splitter for PP.
Kemal also said something about a PP spoiler? So far I think the only spoilers we have seen have been on non-PP cars. I'm guessing a "delete" will also be an option?
Kemal also mentioned a 2 piece diffuser for "Premium" trim. I think that is the one with the extra fins/fences. I still don't understand how the factory diffuser will be that "functional". It does look like a good starting point for some simple underbody aero mods though. Ugh, this is nice but I want more info! Between this car and having the coldest local winter we've ever had on record (50 days below 0) april can't come soon enough.

As in many cases, until final and validated numbers are signed off by the engineering teams, I believe answers were given in a way that reflects the Ford employees would be asked by their management and PR people to share - guarded optimism. I don't it reflects his particular sense of uncertainty.

Having talked with other Ford employees who work on the Mustang, I believe this is more the case, not someone who isn't proud. Clearly in other videos, you can hear the pride.

too bad
if :ford: really tells them to Keep their mouths shut
one way could have been (they did it with the horsepower Output numbers) to tell numbers the prototypes achived (i.e. cd and downforce front and back)
still glad to hear they did a lot of fine Tuning (a single Millimeter can Change a lot)
:Dsooner or later i will have a 5.0 s550 on the Autobahn and compare it with the fie stuff Ford announced to be the Benchmark (m3 or 911)

I'm sure we'll be flooded with hard #s and data by the time we can actually order the cars. April will be an interesting month.
