!!!
Those opting for the Select-Shift automatic can also take control with the steering-wheel-mounted paddle shifts with rev matching for downshifting. The auto also gets a redesigned case with lighter internals.

Still little on weight. Edmunds guesses +100. Ford says "we met our goals."
I'm still hoping for -200lbs.

Kind of sucks that you have to upgrade to 20 inch wheels to get 275s, they dont ride as good and slow down acceleration a little bit..the 19x9.5 still have 265 which is alright.

15 inch rotors where 70% approx. Of the braking is done. This mustang will stop on a dime especially after the weight reduction. No worries there man.

I'm good with it but I know that will be the next attack from the auto crowd. I basically have the same breaking on my GT500 and stop on a dime. After reading the article I wouldn't be surprised to see the GT with the Performance Pack and Recaros in the mid to high $40's.

Ok I understand. They can attack and will, but they said the gt out did a freaking boss around a track. I'm giving credit where it is due. Can't wait to see the track version to compete with the z/28 and actually compete in events as well.

Edit- you may be right on the price. Which is ouch but if this handles and brakes like that.... daaamn

Double edit- I may actually say with NO other options mid 40s would be the high end. Either way that car will be a killer for a good price. Hell we still don't know the HP boost. And then there is 16/17...

Chassis & Suspension
2015 Ford Mustang Rear Suspension

The IRS is an integral-link independent rear suspension. “The geometry, springs, dampers and bushings all have been specifically modified and tuned for this high-performance application,” said Pericak. The benchmark was the Boss 302, and Ford says the ’15 equals or surpasses its handling, feel, and the level of confidence it inspires.

2015 Ford Mustang Front Suspension

The front end is also new, utilizing MacPherson struts and a double-ball-joint spindle with twin lower links (per side, rather than heavier A-arms) and a mild anti-roll bar. This arrangement allows for larger brakes and improves steering feedback. According to Nair, “it’s easier to drive at the limit, it will flatter the novice and reward the expert.”
