Traded in my Mustang and will not be using my Schroth Quickfit harness. I purchased new spring of 2018 and used for a handful for HPDE days. No visible wear, nothing wrong with the harness. I believe they retail for ~$250-300 USD.
Looking for $100 USD ($130 Cad).
Thanks,
Roger
Purchased new in September 2015 and maintained and well-cared for ever since. This car was my original “baby” until two kids came along and sadly it’s time to let it go for a more family-friendly ride. The current mileage is 29000 km (~18000 miles), which will continue to grow until sold. Price...
Just an update, took out both stut's yesterday and tried with these compressors again and had no luck. Local mechanic took off the strut plate on both for $40. Came home used the compressors and got everything set. Camber plates seem to be fine (no noise or anything), going to go to an alignment...
There was no space between the spring and the strut mount. I think I am going to give it another go early next weekend and focus on getting both right up to the perch. Worst case scenario I might just take the struts and plates somewhere to have them compressed and installed.
Today was the day I was supposed to install my new J&M Camber Plates. I got the car up, go the strut removed, put on some spring compressors and could not for the love of me get the strut nut removed.
I tried my electric impact with the 13/16 deep socket impact bit. I tried using a breaker...
I have base GT brakes and have done several HPDE sessions since the spring. I did notice some fade in the hotter days in July... Upgraded to a better fluid and SS brake lines which helped.
I will say I went through the OEM pads surprisingly quick, and there are not as many good alternatives for...
Damn those ground control plates are nice. It doesn't look like the BMR, Maximum Motorsports, or steeda plates provide the same rigid adjustments which would allow to independently change caster or camber and reduce the risk of needing an alignment.
