Decided now is the time to customize and get my car ready to rip up the track. I do lots of autocross and getting more into HPD sessions on road courses. Had to wait for the weather to get better as my divorce took my garage away a few years ago.

So to the build, car is a Magnetic Grey 2015 GT with the Performance Package and Recaros. It will see more street than track so this won't be too hardcore. The first thing I knew I needed to tackle was the dreaded wheel hop so got some suspension parts to fix that. Steeda sub frame braces and IRS sub frame bushing supports should help along with BRM rear dif bushings and performance lowering springs. The car is too quiet so 3" Corsa Sport exhaust is ordered. Seeing as it will be hitting 140mph+, I went with an APR splitter. Custom brake cooling with be done along with powdercoating callipers. To hold me in, a set of Schroth 4 point harnesses are on the way. Finally for a better feel, I got a GT350 wheel, seems all the cool kids are doin that lol.

Still haven't decided on a rear wing, but I am leaning towards the Steeda functional race wing.

Now I suck at photos, so don't expect much in that department, but I will try to capture the build process as I go.

Got the front struts and wheel liners out. I will be pressure washing the parts to make it all like new again. Had to quit as I had to replace fuel pump on my truck after it broke down and had to be towed.

Looking good! You may want to pick-up a set of our popular jacking rails to save your pinch welds and make jacking the car up a cinch!

Removed old exhaust, man that is heavy. Loosened the ebrake cable so I could remove the rear calipers. Seeing as I am doing this solo, I decided to keep the weight of the rear cradle as low as I can to remove it. So I removed the spindles and axles along with all the brakes and anything else I could easily remove.

Made up a wooden support for the cradle and drained the oil. I will figure out what kind of performance oil to put back in later. I removed the entire cradle on my own with some luck and skill. Pics to follow of the dif out and old bushings removed. Almost ready to reinstall

Removed differential and then cut out the bushings. Not too difficult, just time consuming. After that pressure washed the cradle to get ready to install new bushings. Car looks like it is in a wrecker yard with the rear suspension removed.
