This is pure BADASSERY!!!

I cannot wait to see what #'s, the power curve and RPM range of this setup.


Any thoughts to try the CJ setup in addition to this one and compare differences?

So I don't mean to question any decisions...

But wouldn't it have perhaps been better had the 243440 cams been used since it more closely matches the tuning for the manifold? (7500 peak)

IMO, no.

I don't really put much faith in the designed RPM ranges of cams.

The reason why is because, the STOCK .211/.211 cams peak at 7400 RPM.

Going from .211 to .230 + - - - that is HUGE.

I am going to say the 440s would show diminishing returns on a stock shortblock handling car.

My bench math tells me the combo I picked is going to be the best overall set-up.

Let's see what happens!

With the gearing in the auto transmission...I bet these will pull like a mofo in a 3.55 auto car.

"Cams Only" 11's anyone ;)
