Mustang Shop Manual

First thing I've purchased when I've bought new cars is the complete dealer shop manual from Helmsinc.com. Last time I bought a new car was 2006. I'm not seeing the paper shop manual now. Everything appears to be an online subscription priced out by month, year or lifetime. I just want the paper manual, typically around $200. What's out there and people using.

As far as I know everything is being moved to an online-based setup.

When I worked at the dealer we had shop manuals for all the old cars, but anything early 2000's or newer was online.

You might not be able to find a paper manual.

No paper but bonanza.com had the electronic version for $277.

This is why I put an old outdated computer in my garage. If you don't have one then pickup an old cheap laptop off Craigslist.

Plus I can listen to tunes while wrenching/cleaning with that computer.

although I'd like to compile everything for you, it would be an enormous pain in the ass. the manual is on a cd (no hard copies anymore :( ), so the only way to 'copy' it would be to print individual PDFs of each section and compile them.

however, if you're looking for something specific, I can help

you could just copy the disk image as a whole instead of trying to pull files one by one. not sure if there would be any security to get in the way of that though.

I suppose I could provide an iso, but how many people actually know how to use it?

Is there more info on recommended maintenance? The owners manual has jack and s**t in that regard. Nothing about valve lash inspection, intake cleaning, etc. Just says the b.s. get inspected crap. I do my own maintenance, screw dealerships.
