I've got a GT w/PP. I haven't driven a manual in years, so maybe I just need practice. But 1st and 2nd gear rev up so quickly its difficult to keep from over revving. Does anyone else have this problem?

Is their a good after market auto available for the 2015, or should I just keep practicing?

Lol pracrice. If you were considering changing out the transmission you might as well just trade it in for an auto while it's still new and eat the depreciation

You can always start in second.
This is what I often do. Especially since putting the exhaust on the car. With the exhaust it makes people always think I'm racing them even when I'm babying it. First gear with the PP gearing is short.

Keep practicing OP, and keep an eye on the tach for awhile. This car is hard to drive by feel since there is very little feedback and takes time to get used to.

You can pay a transmission shop to remove the manual transmission and put in an automatic transmission.

There is no point to swap to a automatic.

Just practice on the standard and youll get the hang of it again, and itll be better your enjoy driving the car.

A sports car without a stick shift is like Apple pie without ice cream...

Correction: a sports car without a stick shift is like Apple pie without apples.

You'll get used to it within a month...

Shifting improves immensely by removing the clutch pedal assist spring and running in Sport+ mode.

Try it, you'll like it.

That doesn't sound bad.

Never had an over revving problem but will admit 1st to 2nd and even 3rd is short. My suggestion is to bang through the gears quicker if you want to run in 1st. Starting in second will give you more time to shift but you might have more stalling issues since you are re-learning stick. Practice is key!

Watch this AM video (@1:32) in the 1/4. Granted these guys are flooring it and running nitrous but you'll get the idea that 1-2-3 is in a blink of an eye.

I disagree.

I would have ordered my car with a manual, but I have a sciatic nerve issue in my left leg.

I still own a sports car... and a bad ass one at that! :)
