Hi everyone,

Just wanted to let you know the team here has finalized our 2015 Mustang GT tunes for a stock setup with a manual transmission.

When we first dyno-tested our 2015 Mustang GT Performance Pack, it made 391.93 hp and 356.28 ft/lb/tq at the wheels. On that same stock car (93 octane), with solely a tune, we were able to squeeze out 409.99 hp and 366.74 ft/lb/tq at the wheels - an increase of 18 hp and 10 ft/lb/tq!

Dyno sheet:

We will keep you updated as we finalize our cold air intake, in which you all will have the option to run it with or without a tune. We are also finalizing our tunes for third-party cold air intakes.

Regarding tuning for the EcoBoost (manual transmission as well), we are very pleased with the gains we were able to see on an otherwise stock car during testing. If you're looking for an EcoBoost tune sooner rather than later, we're happy to provide one as long as we work with you via datalog review as we continue to ensure tuning continuity across every car.

We are here to answer any questions you may have and we're really excited about this new platform!

Thanks,
David

With the Steeda tune will it stay in gear longer and rev higher?

Will the gear switches be rough or smooth?

In regards to an auto gt.

Thanks.

I'm no dyno expert but it looks like the gains are across all the rpm range and the curve looks smoother too. Wow. Should be interesting comparison to see what additional hp is gained with a CAI added, and then tuned.

Very nice! I'll be curious as to how much HP difference there will be between the tuned & non-tuned CAI.

thanks for the link. ive never used a tuner before, can someone give some info on it? if it comes with a few tunes in it, how would we know which to use? how easy or hard is it to use? can you put it back to factory original? will this void the 7/100K warranty i paid over 2K for? any other info would be great as well. post here or PM me if you like.

thank you

looking to buy an Intake and Tune combo kit very soon. Any sort of ETA on when your Intake and Tune combo kit will be available for the M/T 5.0's?

Does the Tuner come with the factory tune so it can be put back to factory if the car needs to go to the dealership for anything?

When u download the performance tune the tuner saves the factory tune so u can put it back to factory tune.

You say "when you first dyno'd the car it made..."

Were these pulls done on the same day? I'd assume so since the run file names are sequential but still would like confirmation.

Here is a video showing how to use the tuning device:

Yes, it will save the current factory program ... you can use the tuner to set the car back to stop ... no dealership visit is required.

Best Regards,

TJ
