**Check back to this thread often for updates as we continue to calibrate and develop on our new chassis!**

We finally took delivery of our 2015 EB Mustang last night around 930pm, and could not be more excited!

Early this morning, with a fresh 80 miles on the odometer, we brought the car in and strapped her down to our MD.

Not surprisingly, the results were mediocre at best. Fortunately for us, we have accessports in stock, and ready for activation; We wasted no time in calling our friend and liaison at COBB; yes on a Sunday!

Tim, in Indiana for the holidays, quickly got us our needed activation key during his off hours in order to turn our 'Blank AP' into a 2015 Ford EB capable unit! We then hastily got our AP initialized for installation on the car.

After installation, the results were better, but still a far cry from where we want the chassis to ultimately be.

Also! Flat Foot shifting makes a world of difference in keeping the car from feeling gutless during shifts. Map switching is great for keeping power on tap as occasions arise, or conditions change.

Kudos to the COBB Ford Expert Group! Looking forward to working with you very soon!

We're not ready to release all details on our new bolt-on EFR turbo package yet, so we're going to tease you a little more. :D

We can tell you that the EFR retains a twin scroll housing for excellent power off-boost and quick spoolup, plus it has a modern extended tip billet compressor wheel paired with a Gamma-Ti turbine wheel that can support huge top end power. Initial testing and seat-of-the-pants impression is that this is the turbo it should have come with from the factory. Keep tabs on our Facebook page for more updates.

I really was not expecting FFTec to get into the EB Mustang. I like the look of that intake you have and turbo upgrade. Ohh yes. I'm trying to hold off on buying anything more for the car but this is sooo hard to contain myself.. lol.

No numbers for the turbo upgrade is fine. Looks impressive. What about the other bolt on parts on your site?

FFTEC with your upgraded charge piping does is use the stock BOV or will a aftermarket BOV be needed?

Its provisioned for either option: Stock or Aftermarket.

DanFish:

If you're running a COBB AP, the ability is there to run a conventional diverter valve (which can also be purchased through us), by disabling the Electronic valves operation via software. Installation of the conventional valve is easy and straightforward; we will provided instructions.

If you opt to continue use of the factory electronic bypass valve, we will supply an adapter flange for use with our chargpipe kit.

Small preview of what we've been silently working on here at the shop.

While pushing the limits on our EFR turbo system, it became obvious that a built engine was needed. It's fun to push factory components to their limits; but we prefer not to ruin a functional engine (or parts) if it can be avoided.

Above is a photo of one stock rod which we pulled from our engine. Well constructed, but thin and light; definitely not made for big power.

With our extensive background in building 1k+HP 4 cylinder turbocharged engines, we dove into developing a custom rod and piston combination for the EB 2.3L engine.

More details on our proprietary piston and rod combo designed by our engineers later.

As far as we know, this is the worlds first fully built Mustang Ecoboost 2.3L engine! It is operational, and currently in testing!

Just another typical Friday here at the shop. Some fun stuff!!!

Mike from SpeedHunters brought in his Mustang EcoBoost to get our EcoPro Intercooler, chargepipes, and intake installed. On the dyno now getting a custom calibration!

Bonus Photos!

GT-R getting some Ohins, another got a Carbon Fiber spoiler installed, and one motor out for inspection and wastegate adjustments.

Face lift that we completed today. New EFR turbo to try on for size. The 7163 was fun, but this 8374 should be better!

Lets see how she does!
