Are you a wash-aholic?

How anal are you? I've owned this car for two weeks and have hand washed it 4 times. I even talked my wife into investing in a soft water bib on the side of the house. Took awhile to sway her - she's feeling neglected. I'm either joyriding, washing the car, or logged on to this forum. She's convinced I love the car more than her!

LOL!! Once I get my car, I will be cleaning on it like you are. Give your wife a nice bath and rub on her

I wash my car 2-3 times a year. Maybe if I'm meeting some Mustang buddies I'll wash it before hand. I have way more fun making my car dirty than washing it and worrying about keeping it clean.

Have not got my GT yet, but my commuter car Honda Civic I was once a week and I detail spray the car every 2-3 days

I wash mine once a week. Black... just so hard to keep up on. First thing I did when I got it was clay-bar, polish and wax.

i wash my cars whenever they Need to be washed, which can be every other day during winter time...
not only good for the cars, good for the Person washing it, too... (Kind of yoga with the collateral damage of cars looking brandnew

I wash it slightly more than that, but not much. In the winter time, I'll wash it whatever weekend days are warm enough for the drive-through carwash to be open so I can get the road salt off of it, and then I'll usually wash it one time once the winter is over, one time around Memorial Day, and then one time around Labor Day.

It's silly trying to keep it "clean" driving in an urban environment where even the rain makes the car look dusty.

I've met people in my neighbourhood that once they realize where I live comment "Your the guy always washing cars in the driveway--how many Mustangs do you have?"

I tend to stay around once every week -week and a half. If its still decently clean after that, I just wait until after the next rain.

I cheat and use the drive-through cash wash 3-4 times a week, probably will be the same with the GT.

I'm averaging every 4-5 days. Dust and bugs from daily driving is killing me.

I used to be.
I since have taken a 12 step And in recovery

I now have a detail shop come to my office and wadh my cars

Twice a week, sometimes more, never less than once. ;)
