his name is Carl. Local tuner to Vegas. he's worked at dynojet corporate for quite a while.

His instagram:
@customtunesbycarl

after hours he tunes cars as a hobby. only takes on one project at a time. most stand up guy i met in the industry of watching shops/people come and go for 20+ years.

even gave me his car cuz valet glazed my clutch LOL :cheers:

Congrats on the power. I never had an E85 tune. If you use 93 oct and drive with no boost would it be ok on a e85 tune? Or you must use only E85 at all times?

if driving around to be competitive need to stay in the band of the car. gears are quite a bit longer. compared to 3.73. light to light is a lil slower aka around town duty but on the freeway and top end (once in powerband) it's quite nice.

i have two tunes. pump gas and e85. unfortunately you cannot drive e85 on 91 only. so basically i run the tank down and flash (sct x4 takes 7-8 mins to flash) other tuners like hp tuners nguage are quicker. small hassle for big reward.

Interesting you have to do that. It is safer, but for sure your PCM has the ability to be setup as a flex fuel tune, so I can adjust for any concentration of ethanol.

i rather keep it simple and safer as you mentioned.

i live 3 miles from an e85 station and only flash 91 when long road trips (vegas or bay area)

just hope battery doesnt die when flashing--that would be no good.
