I got an email recently (last 2 weeks or so) that the judge is allowing some changes or additions to the plaintiff's claims. The attorneys who are suing Ford are still looking for more people to be local representatives in their states.

Forgive me if this is unclear or partially incorrect. I'm working from memory as I don't have the email handy.

My honest opinion on the outcome and settlement is that GT350 owners will most likely not get anything. It's possible the plaintiff attorneys will get some of Ford's money. Ford's marketing may end up being more careful in how they use words like "most track capable Mustang ever" in the future. However, I'm not a lawyer and I didn't stay in a Holiday Inn Express any time recently, so take it for what it's worth (virtually nothing).

That's about right. They keep asking, I didn't respond. I just wanted to be kept up to date.

I like to disassemble things.
I want the couch seats and navigation that I couldn't get when I bought my Track Pack. The 4" screen and "radio" I got underperformed and the Recaro seats did not allow me to fall asleep at the wheel while boulevard pimping my ride.

This crap again? What kind of imbecile would resurrect this topic and stir the pot.

Geesh.

Lawsuit is not going to amount to much of anything for the owners.

Hopefully Ford has learned their lesson for future vehicles, but judging from the 2018 PP2 option (still no coolers, but comes with Cup2 tires) I think the jury is still out on that (pun intended).

The MT82 didn't "overheat" in the S197 cars but they did sure get hot AF. 300+ F. I think that's overheating in my book but there wasn't an electronic fail safe to shut 'er down once it got to that point. The Vette's 8L60 I think says no more after 280 F as well.

True! But the MT82 has much more mass to deal with the heat opposed to the much smaller tremec. I tracked my S197 and my S550 GT PP with no issues.

Yeah and the Boss only had that scoop thingy. I do know some guys with MT82's did roast their fluid but then again anyone can do that with enough nut sack.

Not necessarily directed towards you Jeff, just the whole "all of a sudden" somebody resurrects a lot of deep division within our community.

Them were some painful times and I don't think fondly upon them.
