Yes I did took me about 2 hours. The video from cjponyparts were very helpful.
Looks great! How sturdy does it feel? Still relatively easy to get into the backseat? Once in the backseat, does it sit in your vision or basically invisible?

Thanks!

Chris

I'm curious of these questions too. My CDC lightbar arrives from CJ Pony tomorrow. :)

Thanks guys, the bar is sturdy, entering the back seat is about the same as before, and once seated you can see clearly. I ordered it from cjponyparts and I followed the instruction along with watching the video and it took me about 2 hours. It works great!

My CDC light bar arrived yesterday. I was surprised at how beefy it felt! Though it is NOT a roll bar, I can see why CDC says that it would add 'some degree' of roll over protection. Ha ha, maybe more accurate to say it would protect you from falling on top of your car. ;) (well except for another car ;o) I won't be able to install until Friday or Saturday along with the RL hood struts that I got from CJ Pony too.

I am very excited to finally have decided and ordered, after much research on 2015 3.7L exhaust, to be getting Magnaflow mufflers 11365 and Magnaflow 4" tips 35136. Strangely one muffler is due tomorrow and one is due Friday. I'll need to see if I can get a Saturday appointment for installation.

Dave,

Where did you read that the light bar provies "some degree" of roll over protection? Had not seen that one...

Chris

Edit: In fact, everything that I have seen they explicitly say that there is not any rollover protection

No, this was not in writing. this was in conversation on the phone with a guy at CDC. So no I have no illusions that this provides any roll over protection of any significance. it's like talking to a salesman at the dealership at any place. They SAY a lot of things. What can be proven or is put in writing is a whole nother story :-)
so I was just passing along a salesman's words. ;)

OK, got it. have seen pictures that indicate that it does, but for them to sell it with the words would be implying something that they cannot prove (and makes them liable) so I would expect that they will never say it in a wink-wink type of way to stay away from the lawyers. I think that it would and does provide some protection but not in a way that you could bank on it.

Just my opinion.

Chris, I completely agree. I'm just buying it for the looks of it, not for any perceived protection. :-)
