OK, order placed. I'm going to give it a shot. I was waiting on a great review like the one posted above.

So David, will it make a bumping noise if I press too hard on the clutch pedal?
Now that's funny!

I drove to work today and all I can say is the car should have came stock from the factory with this spring!! Great product for sure. Now my shoes wont have scuff marks from lifting the pedal up with my shoe :D

David,

Are you guys considering any heavier spring rates for the GT350. I took mine out and i think i do get some more clutch chatter. Will 35 pounds be sufficient or do you think it will need more on the GT350.

I dont want to have any issues with the car but i am not putting that stock spring back in :tsk:

Hey George,

If you'd like, I can just send you the current one we have and get your feedback. I bet the clutch feels pretty nice without the spring in there aside from the chatter, so this could be a good option for you.

Let me know, and I'll send one out!

Thanks,
David

is there gonna be a progressive spring and a linear spring available?
How about an adjustable spring? ... :D
I'm holding out for a coil over lol :headbang:

Actually, mine is sitting on my workbench to be installed soon, I ordered the second i got the email from Steeda because I never wanted to not have one in there. I am not sure if anyone who has changed to a different spring or this one from Steeda has an aftermarket clutch???

I have a McLeod RXT and am hoping this spring will keep the pedal lifted. I would guess it will because the RXT should only change the pressure when pressing the clutch in not change the disengagement or resting pressure... I think lol.

Thanks David!

i would be happy to provide feedback on it!!! If you guys have anything heavier i could try it also but if you think 35 is good then i am happy

I will post up a review in the GT350 section for you and try and take some sound bytes from the clutch chatter before and after.

I also installed your spring on my GT350 yesterday and also noticed some clutch chatter, the gt350 seems to be different then the other mustangs. The gt350 has 2 springs.

Try installing the steeda spring in series with the smaller spring and perch that came with the gt350. If it fits it should solve the chatter but it may not compress the full distance needed.

I also have a track pack. When I took mine out parts went everywhere. I found the upper part in the knee bolster. When I test drove it I noticed a tiny bit of chatter, and thought it was in my head. (Maybe brain rattle)

Both the small spring and Steeda spring will not work together. The Steeda spring is over twice as long. It may be just my imagination because it was cold but I seem to of noticed a small bit of chatter. With or without the Steeda spring installed, the pedal play is the same. I didn't check the pedal play with the stock spring. Either way that stock spring is not going back in. I wish ford didn't install a hydraulic clutch and kept the cable instead.

i installed earlier and the feel is almost the same as removing the clutch spring. with the spring remove the pedal would not go up 100% so this seems to correct that. no idea if il notice anything else but clutch pedal feels the same as no spring and engagement. Steeds can you comment on what else i should feel? been driving my car for months with no springs so kinda use to it now
