  1. What next?

There's been a bill introduced to the CA state legislature calling for GPS linked speed limiters in new cars. +10 over the speed limit is all you get. Another wonder from the nanny state.
  2. Tesla and Ram top the list.

    Accident rate survey. https://www.lendingtree.com/insurance/brand-incidents-study/
  3. Tesla Sales

I'll just throw this out here. Tesla's world wide sales are getting close to 50% of Ford's. I don't really care or have a horse in this race so all you electricity haters please direct your angst elsewhere. I'm not Elon, just the messenger...
  4. Odd Sighting

Had my first sighitng today, a Tesla EV semi pulling trailer. It was decked out in Frito-Lay livery. If it was hauling potato chips I'm hard pressed to say the semi was working hard, but cool to see nonethelesss.
  5. e-Fuel

Thought I'd throw this out there so there can be more arguing about EV's. https://www.cnbc.com/2022/12/20/porsche-starts-production-of-e-fuel-that-could-provide-gas-alternative.html
  6. 3-Pedal

I've always gotten a laugh out of the manual vs. automatic discussions (arguments?) on this website. The passion of the clutch crowd and the paddle shifters is amazing. But let me ask...who has driven a real 3-pedal? How many of you have logged time on a Model T?
  7. Uplifting story

It's about cars...but more so about people. Enjoy. https://www.cbsnews.com/news/steve-hartman-blind-drag-racer-guinness-world-records/
  8. Mach E beat Tesla

    Good news for Ford. https://www.cnbc.com/2022/02/17/fords-mustang-mach-e-tops-teslas-model-3-in-consumer-reports-list-.html
  9. First Oil Change

Am I correct in assuming that the Ford engineer who designed the yellow oil pan plug is the same guy who positioned the oil filter access door so that oil runs all over it and also put the dip stick right under the tower strut brace?
  10. Top Speed

Does anyone know the top speed for the +2018 convertibles? Both top up and down? I assume it's less aerodynamic than the hard top and I was wondering if it can hit the speed limiter in either configuration.
  11. Ownership numbers

Please forgive a Yank for dropping in on your forum thread. I'm curious if anyone has an estimate of the numbers of Mustangs in Australia. I'm amazed at how active you guys are on the forum and the demand for the Mustang. I never expected a large international market for the car. Guess...
  12. 2021 - Locking Center Console

I have a 2021 convertible that, as far as I can tell, does not have a locking center console. I was under the impression that all convertibles came with that feature. Are there any other 2021 owners out there who can comment? Or am I missing something about how it operates?
  13. J&M vs Steeda Jack Rails

Looking to install jacking rails on a GT convertible. Any thoughts on J&M vs Steeda? I know the J&M are heavier, but do they add greater stiffness to the vert? Any installation gotchas?
  14. Ford Order Tracking Website Down?

Has the Ford tracking website gone belly up? https://shop.ford.com/vehicleordertracking#/ My vehicle was waiting to ship but the status has reverted back to "In Production." Curious if only my VIN is in limbo or if everyone is having problems getting updates.
  15. 2021 Window Stickers

Has anyone had luck downloading a 2021 Mustang window sticker? I have an order, that's shipping in a couple of days, and the sticker is not available. For grins I tried getting stickers for VINs with lower serial numbers than mine with no results there either. Presumably the dealer could find...
  16. Extended Warranty

I have a factory order placed for a 2021 GT convertible. Usually I blow off the extended warranty sales pitch on new cars. Unless you're the unlucky person who has some sort of catastrophic failure they aren't worth the money. I did have a 1985 GT that needed tranny work just a couple of...
