Mine sat in garage all weekend, intended to go for a drive but ended up doing chores and took excursion to hardware store for "supplies" Hope to get out next weekend.

Not to rub it in, but here its been 80's and no clouds. One of the chores was to fix the pool filter that blew up on Thursday. After the fix, jumped in the pool.

I usually walk 2 3/4 to 4 miles everyday. (Rain or snow days) 5 years ago my doctor told me I had diabetes and I had to change my ways or suffer serious consequences! I’ve lost 58 pounds and I’m totally off medication! I control it by watching carbs and sugar and exercise! One good way is to polish and wax a car! Very rewarding! Crappy cool cloudy day so I decided to crank up the Bose System and do the Shelby and the Roush. Different form of exercise and a lot more fun than walking! Took my time, little over 6 hours To do both cars. I’ll be 71 in three weeks and yes my body is little tired but, it’s a GOOD tired and cars are shiny! My idea of a good day! I’ll sleep well tonight!

LOL Les. 66 here.
One of my favorite forms of exercise.
During this COVID crisis, stuck at home, I don't think there is a speck of dust on my 350.
Wish my Beith leather steering wheel would show up.

Installed BMR low profile jacking rails, Shifteck X pipe resonator delete, and P51 r spec wheels with PS4S 305/30 all around. Only things left to do are install the Ford springs and get ppf done.

Be sure to post pics of the Beith Steering Wheel. Was just thinking about a full leather steering wheel the other day. As much as I like alcantara, it just doesn't seem right on a steering wheel. (disclaimer: my opinion only)

Will do. Ordered it about 3 1/2 weeks ago. At the time they were at 5 weeks for shipping.
Got gray stitching, gray stripe, and carbon fiber inserts to match my dash.

Thinking of doing a really good engine bay detail. It’s got full of pollen and dust, and I see dirt forming in nooks and crannies. Of all the cars I’ve had, I think Audi’s have the best seals around the engine bay to keep dirt and pollen out. Porsche is good too in their designs, newer ones that is. Ford could do a better job of it.

Ford can't even get a hood to fit right.

i'd be interested to hear what is the simplest, easiest way to clean up the engine bay for our shelbys. anyone use simple green (diluted) and a microfiber and that's it?

Hyperdressing is amazing stuff from Meguirs. I use that after a damp micro fiber.

I had a look at those Beith steering wheels before, they are way overpriced. I'd rather buy 18 y.o. Glenlivet single malt scotch for all that amount, at least it keeps the virus away :)

Maybe use a leaf blower before you spray and wipe it clean.

I wash the engine bay like the car with soap and water... nothing goes wrong unless you hose into the intake :). Just take care with electrical connections and it'll be fine.
After that I let it dry or take it for a spin. When it's cold again, I use Carpro Reload on it, makes it nice and shinny and dust does not settle as quick.

I just bought some Carpro Perl, will try out in a moment and post some pics in fact.
