I was cleaning my PMAS filter Saturday/Sunday and left the hood up overnight while the filter was drying. Re-oiled and re-installed and when trying to start the car I'm receiving "No Key Detected". I can't see why this would be related...but now the only way the car starts is when I put the key in the slot located in the cupholder.

I replaced the keyfob batteries this afternoon but I'm still receiving the same error. I was planning on unhooking the negative/positive battery cables in an attempt to 'reset' the system when I get home this evening. Both FOBs are giving me the same issue.

Without a trip to the dealer to possibly reprogram the fobs is there anything I'm missing?

Just an update.
Disconnecting the cables off the battery for 10minutes seems to have fixed the issue.
