Kinda annoying because in my previous mustangs I always had the motorcraft batteries and no joke they would last like 7 years! To see it fail in 3 years really sucks.
I don't want to replace it with another motorcraft if it will die in another 3 years... what battery should I replace it with...
used c8 is so expensive you may as well buy new and even a used c7 is going for a bit less than a brand new mustang gt while being only a little bit faster and having zero practicality as a daily driver.
Im just going to wait until they make the mustang GT significantly faster and buy that.
My 22 Mustang GT is premium with all the features and i can sell it for almost what i paid, but the base c8 is pretty stripped down feature wise and they say you should get the 2LT and i dont think the z51 package is worth it but even 2lt c8 is about 78k and I never spent that much on a car...
I REALLY love the cooled seats especially since I am in texas now and they are a must in the summer.
I feel like they work really well.
Are they ventilated or do they have their own AC unit inside?
I plan to keep my car OEM for the most part, but I am thinking of getting the roof wrapped black. What do you guys think?
Windows are untinted/stock and will stay that way
Side mirrors will stay stock too because I remember back when cars came with black mirrors and it looks more premium to me...
I didn’t find the heated seats all that useful even when I lived in Minnesota. But I’m in Texas now and the cooling seats are a must to me now.
I notice a lot of cars only have heated seats, even most luxury cars.
freaking love this car. Feels like a luxury car with balls.
One thing I love about my mustang is when I moved Recently I was able to fold down the back seats and carry a ton of stuff
Also I can fit my road bike in there
I want a car that can go 0-60 in 3.5 seconds or less, but the only options seem to be German cars that are much more expensive to buy...
The manual says every 3 years with Motorcraft DOT-4 LV High Performance Motor Vehicle Brake Fluid
Though on my previous mustang (s197 GT) which I also bought new, I never changed the brake fluid and the brake pedal didnt start feeling squishy until 90k miles.
If anything with my 22 gt I feel...
The Porsche looks nice and has the cachet, but as soon as I started the engine I was like wtf, the exhaust had ZERO rumble.
it felt a bit more nimble, but the s550 with IRS is no slouch at handling either.
didn’t feel like it was any faster than my mustang.
I always thought Porsche 911 would...
Because if you see when they went from the 4.6 to 5.0 it was a HUUUUGE step forward.
Surely they can make another huge step forward without forced induction or changing to a RMR drivetrain?
what do you think it will take?
I get pretty bad road rage when I'm in my stang and people mess with me like cut me off or speed up by me and merge inches in front of me without signaling and one time I had this idiot kid in a civic try to play "chicken" with me by coming in my lane and driving head on at me!
I've gotten so...
Because of some problems I'm in the middle of a move and I had to store my mustang for a few months with about 100 pounds worth of stuff in the trunk
I am worried having the car be stagnant with the weight in the trunk will mess up the independent rear suspension. But there's nothing I can do...
Lol that sucks man! Our mustangs do that at a fraction of the price!!!! Imagine paying that much for that kind of performance! The bri-ish have really fallen off
Seems like with most other car manufacturers you have to get an app with a subscription fee these days to use remote start and it's so badly implemented cos when you open the door it turns off the engine! Whats up with that? I've seen this in toyota, mercedes and many other brands!
Ford is the...
Especially coming from my old 06 GT Premium which I thought i was going to keep forever.
If I could describe this car in 1 word - it would be SMOOTH
1. The electronic powersteering feels so nice and smooth!
2. The stock exhaust sounds PERFECT IMO
3. Despite being a performance vehicle, the...
I'm glad I found out about STO N SHO when I bought my car cos I thought I would just have to drill the front bumper and that would have sucked!
Though tbh I notice most "cool" cars out there aren't even rocking a front plate. Some people do the "plate in the windshield" deal, that looks tacky...
