Been trying to track a slight knocking noise. Happens when steering left to right at slow speeds. Replaced a couple parts already, didn't solve the issue (both were bad anyway Smaller front lower control arm and sway bar link) ..Next thing I'm looking at is the steering column.

Took off the air intake boot. Obviously the car is off here. I noticed the throttle body is open slightly (like ten degrees, see picture). Is it supposed to be like this? Every car,bike motor (whatever) I've inspected the throttle body is closed shut when engine is off.

The isolator looks like it was coming out of the mounting cup. This picture is with the car raised, but the other side didn't look like this. Is this fine? Either way I'm going to be installing lowering springs soon, so it doesn't matter but I'm curious if this is sketchy.
