My Mustang brake discs rust up within minutes of getting wet when I wash the car but my Audi discs never rust at all. Does Audi use a better grade of steel or what?

Ok, so I screwed up the order and got the Powerstop Z23 pads, not the Z26. If they are the same except for the backing plate, will the Z23s be fine for the Bullitt or do I need to exchange them for Z26? I don't drive so hard so don't believe heat dissipation will be an issue but any first hand...

So tired of the brake dust! Anyone found a suitable local replacement for the OEM pads but that don’t dust. Bendix say their ceramic pads will do it but looking for first hand confirmation. Otherwise will have to import pads from US. Thanks.
