Seat Trimming

Have been thinking of re-trimming the front seats in my Bullitt to lift the interior a bit above the ordinary with maybe an upscale stitching pattern or perhaps some contrast colour leather inserts. But the trimmer I spoke to advised that because the seats are ventilated (heated & cooled), they have special foam which he cannot get. He also said that if I still wanted to have anything done, he would have to place and order and the seats covers would be made in Malaysia. Is this correct? Anybody have experience with this, and can anyone recommend a good trimmer in South East suburbs of Melbourne who they know does custom work? Thanks

Hi Bulutt, have you tried NSR automotive interiors. I know he is not on your side of town but it might be worth talking to him, he has done plenty of mustang interiors.

You could try Doyles Upholstery, Autoluxau or BNBLeather. Tickford and Mustang Motorsport also do it.

Back in 2017, had Blackmans Leather Geelong redo my seats and door trims - did a fantastic job. They have a branch on your side of town as well.
