So I have Steeda Linear Ecoboost springs with Ford Performance Track pack shocks on a Performance Pack ecoboost. Biggest praise so far was from one of my faster students, who had a c7 stingray. "This is the most balanced car I have ever ridden in! It pivots, turns in, and puts the power down...
Mid Ohio last weekend, just giving a shout out. We were running with the chicane at the end of the "front straight". There was a massive hole before the right hand gator going into the chicane. I am a gator hog, so I tried turning in early and getting the car up and over, but found that big...
It literally sounds like a bad wheel bearing at parking lot speeds while turning. I'm gonna re-check fluid level and go from there. Once its warmed up, I've got no noise whatsoever.
Only way I have gotten "limp mode" was from a DTC for oil overtemp, when the ecoboost doesn't even have an oil temp sensor. Its inferred from the coolant temp and other variables. Even then, my limp mode was a 6K rev limiter for less than 15 seconds or so
So, I am a bit dumb, just to start. I have run my stock rubber piston seals at the track, with hot as crap track pads. All but two have dry rotted, 4 fronts, and both rears on an Eco performance pack. While I am still within B2B warranty, I would like to be able to rebuild them at some point...
Ever tried the stock pirelli's at 40 rear, 38 front? Sidewalls get really stiff, but you wear the centers pretty fast. I usually keep up with guys on slicks.
I would probably say for the 71's, closer to 35 or 36. From what I have heard about them is they get squishy when they get higher than...
Stock hood is aluminum. And just about the only hood I've seen out that weighs less is the full CF Tiger Racing hood. The rest of the "CF" hoods weigh more.
yea, reflash the software if you don't have a setting. We get it a lot at work.
One thing we havent been able to fix is if its slow to bring up the camera, and I'm starting to have the problem. fun...
Get some heat in the stock Pirelli P-Zeros, I've outhandled some "good" drivers on slicks running both 255/40R19 all around, and the 275/40R19 all around on different days.
