I went looking for this today and found it in top part of airbox plastic welded in front of maf tube. Nice emissions carb cert piece for Ford only as it is not helping a 7000 rpm motor breath more efficiently by any means. Lol. Oh know, my warranty is gone now... :).

Occasionally my car soon after start up will do what I would call a converter flash at slow speed in first gear with foot off the accelerator in drive. By itself it will rev up 2000 rpms like in neutral (no movement or push) real quick and drop back to idle rpms? WTF is that...?

My car since I picked it up sounds like it has a mild pete jackson gear drive in it. Low speed it is noticeable whine sound. Have not seen this talked about. Do not remember hearing this on other 18’s I drove? Anybody else. Could be in the motor or trans?
So I drove a couple 18’s today. One with driver modes (drag etc.) and one with base 300a. Are the 18’s tune detectable? Meaning if a motor lets go or issue can Ford see if car was tuned?
