  1. The Old 5.0 S107

a 2013/2014 looks much better in my opinion. The new car is superior in many ways, but if you get a good deal on an S197 that checks all the boxes on your want list, go for it.
  2. Tremec 6070 Swap

At first glance those ratios are screaming for at least a 4.10 gear, My FRPP T5 with 2.95 first worked great with 4.10's in a fox body, 1.6 60ft on a 225 Yokohama street tire. 13.9s 1/4 on a stock motor.
  3. The Wrench of Doom

The wrench light is different than the regular check engine light, it usually indicates an issue with the drive by wire, or electronic throttle body. Usually, the fault will need to be seen twice to trip a code, but it may have stored one. You can just ask the dealership to check for codes, if...
  4. Front end smashed - less than 3 weeks old

ugh. I Can't believe I missed this whole thread, really sorry to hear about what happened. It's a terrible feeling seeing something coming without having enough time to stop it. Definitely put out some feelers on body shops, finding a good one is very hard these days, insurance companies...
  5. Nitrous system finally installed!

Sounds awesome, I'm anxious to see how it turns out.
  6. Who is going to have the first ProCharged 2015 Mustang to run with this?

Just imagine that thing slung in a Fox Body.. :hail:
  7. '15 GT or wait for Focus RS?

Ecoboosts have a good track record with producing amazing torque so far, It will be exciting to see what this car is capable of doing. I'm really looking forward to driving one, and hoping the trans and drivetrain will be built to hold up to the cars capabilities.
  8. What wheel locks are you using?

True, I can't say I've ever lived somewhere that I really had to worry about it, guess I'm fortunate in that regard.
  9. Nitrous system finally installed!

Ahh, ok. Looks like there's some real options in the Ford tuning market now, at least between SCT, HPtuners and Delta Force. How much nitrous do you plan on running? Looking forward to seeing what it can do.
  10. What wheel locks are you using?

As somebody who works on cars, I can't stand wheel locks. They offer more headaches than security in my opinion, anybody can buy a removal tool.
  11. '15 GT or wait for Focus RS?

you really have to drive it like you hate it to make an AWD 4-pot fast on pavement. in the dirt though.. :D
  12. Nitrous system finally installed!

oooh, sneaky sneaky!! I'm a fan! that doesn't look like advantage, what are you tuning with?
  13. So, what kind of cars/vehicles have you owned?

    1986 Mustang 'Vert 3.8L V6 1992 Bronco 5.0L V8 4X4 1988 Mustang GT 5.0L V8 1997 F-150 Reg. Cab Flareside 4.6L V8 4X4 2000 Hyundai Accent.. with a liter and a half of PURE "EFFIN" FURY! 2009 F-250 Reg. Cab 5.4L V8 4X4 1993 Mustang Notch 5.0L V8(current rat rod) 1996 Bronco Eddie Bauer 5.8L V8...
  14. Supercharge the GT350?

it's fun to speculate on these sorts of things, but I'm sure most of us understand that the reality is a "wait and see" situation. Someone will snatch one up and strap a blower to it, how it responds should be interesting. I'm sure we will see just how tough the internals are in short order...
  15. You guy's have to see this.

must be a hell of a ride, love it!
  16. GT350R rear wing

I'm a little skeptical about how much of the rear window will be obscured by that wing, I wouldn't want it blocking my rear view mirror. I agree that the brace is either tweaking the down force or trying to quell a vibration. I don't really see it as an issue if a GT owner installs it on...
  17. Is plain old Armor-All OK for the plastic in the interior?

a lot of the greasy-shiny stuff, especially the tire shines, are silicone based which attacks a lot of rubbers and plastics over time.
  18. Time to #replacethegrenade with a ProCharger Aluminum Coolant tank for 2015 Mustangs!

Removing the cap on a degas bottle is not dangerous at all, there is always air in the top of the bottle that will rush out as you loosen it and nobody gets hurt. In the days of having an actual radiator cap, directly under the cap was pressurized hot coolant just waiting to convert to steam...
  19. '15 GT or wait for Focus RS?

The Focus RS will be able to split front to rear, and also side to side in the rear, allowing the outside rear tire to push the car through a turn which is a very effective handling approach. From my knowledge, it's basically what NASCAR teams set their car up to do, and they handle pretty well...
  20. Ford Focus RS 2015 revealed

I would take the RS over the ecoboost Mustang hands down on performance and capability, but the price point will likely line it up against a nice GT 5.0L. At that point, the decision gets difficult for me. Toyotas "bold moves" ad campaign makes me cringe, it's absolute crap that they're trying...
