The Tremor sticker was far too close to that of a crew cab FX4 with the 5.0L in my opinion, but vehicles as a whole are more expensive than ever it seems.
Why not trade up to a '15 GT?
You can "Whipple" it and be knocking on the door of 700RWHP without breaking a sweat.
The S197 interior is a serious down grade in my opinion, but the performance capabilities are there.
oh man, a 2WD RCSB aluminum F-150 with a blown 6.2L and fat sticky tires would be glorious!
but in reality, it'd share the Raptors ecoboost and still be a cool truck.
The Tremor was a nice truck, but the 3.5L really left me wanting more after driving a few of them.
I think it was a Michigan plate as well, it would be nice to see if it said "manufacturer" on it.
are some people not even reading the thread before saying "it's just an LS"??? There are some not so subtle hints that something different is hiding under the hood.
Yeah, these aren't cobra jets by any means, the brakes, wheels and tires are screaming so.
They could be any sort of test mule, and if they are powertrain test mules all the bits we are seeing, don't mean squat.
I'm sure someone will make an aftermarket replica that will fit, but an OE one would be pretty unlikely given that the sheet metal from the a-pillar forward is different.
I can't say I have any direct experience with the FRPP filters, their website makes some generic claims about improvements but doesn't specify what it's comparing to.
I'm a dealer tech, I also use Motorcraft filters but Walmart sells them for less than our cost to the dealership through Ford, just an FYI.
They were trying to strong arm you into coming back for service, keep receipts and document your mileage, you'll be fine.
Motorcraft oil is also a safe...
1. I like a decent amount of the carbon fiber bits.
2. That grill.. is Absolutely HORRID.
3. does anybody know how to make a spoiler/wing that doesn't look like they stole it from Roush??
4. can they even say this car is "engineered" when it seems all they've done is raid the FRPP catalog...
it's amazing how much it looks like a coyote, but isn't one. there's a lot of tweaks but it looks like the 5.0L was a great starting point to build from.
exactly, but there isn't enough green visible in Guard in my opinion to call it a green color, to me, they're both grey with Guard having a touch of a green tinge to it depending on the angle and light.
the only thing Comp. Orange needs to be swapped for is Molten Orange.
Guard and Magnetic are too similar, but I prefer Magnetic and would like to see it stay. To me, swapping Guard with something that is actually green would make sense.
This is all a matter of personal preference anyhow, by...
my best guess is that is uses a double wall construction to keep the outside of the tip cooler so you don't burn your shin on it opening your trunk?
our diesels have fresh air inlets and mixers in the tips to cool the exhaust as it exits, but that's to prevent them from burning things down...
