Absolutely my biggest pet peeve with these cars. I ended up getting them into place, then tack welding the joints so they could not move at all.
Although now I run a fully welded exhaust from the header back. of course it only weighs 23lbs and isn't a pain in the ass to remove all at once lol.
I just saw the DYNO chart. Horsepower and Torque do not cross at 5250 like they should. Either the correct factor is way off or the Dyno wasnāt set correctly.
Horsepower = Torque x RPM / 5,252 in the normal world.
trap time will eventually tell all.
Did you have them update the new Valvebody solenoid shift strategy using IDS?
I always update it whenever I put a valvebody in.
welcome to the world of destroying 10R80ās š. Iāve been through several now. Probably $9000 worth. I keep a spare trans on the shelf along with a new valvebody at...
And you definitely need a cooler for the higher horsepower drag cars. 1000+ hp rapidly going through all the gears with a massive load heats things up super quick. Iām on transmission #3 and have seen temps up to 240. I try not to let it get over 180, thatās when clutches start to eat...
Lithium batteries make me nervous. After seeing cars, trailers and shops go up in smoke, I canāt bring myself to get one. I do love agm though and Iāve ran the Odyssey 96-600R the last year. So far so good. Theyāre heavy though.
It comes off with one hand in less than a minute. I hold it up with one hand, loosen the vbands with the other and slip it forward out of the rear hangars.
I wouldnāt want to do that with a 75lb exhaust though.
Message Scott Richardson on IG for the thermal bypass.

I have a midnight stage 2 with the Richardson thermal bypass and this power by the hour trans cooler with -6AN lines. Trans stays under 160 degrees with normal driving with spikes under wot of maybe 180 at most. I have an in-line 160 degree thermostat for the fan relay. Iāve been through...
