I was looking to switch from the stock thermostat to the 170 degree thermostat on my 17 Roush. Is there any drawbacks to going to the 170? I’m in the northeast and drive it in the winter sometimes and does it have any impact on winter driving? Thanks all.
This will be of interest to the 15-17 owners running the Roush TVS or looking to run this set up. I’ve been running the Roush Phase 2 kit on my 17 since new and loved the first 7,300 miles, but now I’m saying the heck with any Roush parts warranty and turning it up.

Anyone know what is the power limits on the 47lb injectors running 93 pump gas? I’m doing some upgrades on my 17 Roush Phase 2 with a VMP 67mm twin jet throttle body and PMAS intake along with VMP custom tune.
I just ordered the HP Tuners Ngauge w/VMP Custom Tune for my 17 Mustang GT Roush Phase 2. Anyone running a Roush set up have any experience with a VMP tune? I’ve been told it is a night and day difference over the Roush canned tune?

Im looking at getting some custom tune and upgrades to my 17 Roush Phase. I narrowed it down to VMP’s 767+ Kit with Triple Pass Heat Exchanger or Palm Beach Dyno Level 3 TVS Kit. Any Roush owners out there have any experience with either option?
I have a boosted 17 GT with Base suspension and would BMR Rear Vertical Links w/Spherical Bearings and BMR IRS Cradle Lockout Kit take care of most of the wheel hop? I’m putting around 640hp to the wheels.
I’ve tried looking multiple spots to purchase the Roush Rear Decklid Panel for my 17 Roush Phase 2 to no avail. I know Roush does not sell them but maybe someone wrecked their car and pulled parts off or such.
