Honestly I'd just do it myself. Even if you fuck up the hole a little bit, it will be covered by the spoiler. Tape everything, go slow, it won't be bad.
Now if you don't already have the tools, then yeah I'd probably take it in too.
For $100, I'd be worried the shop will throw a new tech at...
Hear me out (As someone who knows jack shit about motor size or really anything electric)...two smaller motors, mounted directly on the A-Arm. If you made the camber arm flat, could you fit a motor in there? Is it conceptually cool but functionally impossible?
It appears to be a legit track attack car. Seller has some extenuating circumstances. Admits he changed the wing and a few other things based on his post history over on the GT500 forum.

Everyone I know that tracks them is on at least their second motor. The motor isn't as robust as one might think.
Not throwing shade at it, the chassis and suspension set up, and support for it, is amazing. But the motors are as robust as the Voodoo.
Just going to be another one who has ordered from Beefcake and gotten great service. Can't remember what I ordered, I think an oil separator. It was the last thing I ordered in a series of items, and the first to arrive. It definitely appears to be a miscommunication or maybe an email...
A lot. But I'm also kind of far down the path.
But to add to the comments above which are spot on. Tracking a car, every bit of that car becomes a consumable. So how long should you expect a motor, or trans, or diff to last? I had started budgeting for a new motor for my car early on. It failed...
I guess my first question is, how much track experience do you have? Not trying to be condescending, but I'd hate to suggest a tire if this is your first outing.
If it is, I'd keep whatever you have, and it will teach you much better car control.
If it's not, and you're serious about lap...
First off, no one is going on record saying what they paid for their GTD. Ford has a non-disclosure agreement with owners on that topic. So let's just assume $325k, based on what Ford has claimed. Pricing for the Carbon or Spirit of America hasn't been released. So we are left to guess on that...
Oh one other bit of information. The engineer confirmed the axle shafts are hollow and reinfor
When I heard that was the color he picked, I was on the fence. Then I saw it in person, and it would probably be my first choice as well.
Now if they offered mystichrome....that's another story!
The good thing is catching it this way, you likely saved a lot of other very expensive bits on that motor. Especially if it's still holding pressure.
Take apart your filter when you do the oil change and look for larger flakes there. Towards the end of my voodoo, I may have found a couple...
Use any other company but Blackstone. A good analysis costs more than $100.
I won't start on my disdain for Blackstone, but suffice it to say they will not catch an engine failure.
I'm still not convinced they are slicks. If these wheels are 19s, the world of street legal slicks opens up.
I didn't realize how limiting the GTD 20s were for tire selection.
