  1. Alignment after Steeda Adjustable Rear Toe Links

2nd one good. First one, I wouldn't have paid them. That is just pure laziness. Like how did the front camber change with zero adjustability up front? Second question. What did the shop show for original settings before adjustments?
  2. 8-4-1 Headers (Video)

This was my first thought. I can hear the undertone of the Voodoo, but yeah it's really poppy/snappy. Like a trumpet.
  3. DRL disabling with FORSCAN

    This is the only solution.
  4. Why Would Anyone Do This Autozone BS?

I kind of like it. Lol I actually think it's pretty low key. I wouldn't do it to my car because the track is hard on paint. But it doesn't look as bad as that fmj Machtober posted.
  5. 201[9 Gt350r. New to car. Vibration issue for track day?

No. Minor items for the most part are all that changed. If you drive any GT350 on roads, not track, I'd bet it lives a long life. Start taking it to the redline every shift, high G corners, carrying a lot of rpm, you're going to have a bad day eventually. But damn it sounds good and has...
  6. Pedders eXtreme Coil-Overs.. or?

To both the requests posted here. Have any of you looked at AJ Hartmans coil over conversion kit? I think it's probably exactly the adjustability you're looking for. I had it on the front of my car to run more spring. It's a well made kit, very adjustable, and simple. I'd highly recommend taking...
  7. Utter lawlessness in Wichita, KS regarding burble tunes

We should probably ban police lights too because someone with epilepsy could have a seizure and crash. Nevermind personal accountability for choosing to drive. Get an uber if you have a heart condition that could cause you to die at a moments notice.
  8. Looking at C8 Corvettes, and I just... can't... Is it just me or do others view them the same?

The C8 definitely performs. The biggest flaw is the appearance, but even that gets fixed in the GS/Z06 trim, where the flared wheel arches come in. That said, the base C8 has two problems. First, the front looks good, but it's completely spoiled by the rear, where major compromise was made so...
  9. Engineering Explained Buys a GT350

I bet there is more done to that car that he doesn't know about. I think it's got different motor mounts based on the intake - STB clearance. That's the big one that stuck out to me. I'm sure there is more. It has the R splitter. I wouldn't be shocked if it has the R/500/M1 struts. Potentially a...
  10. 2017 GT350R spark plug change

Someone did an analysis on real vs fake, and Amazon was the #1 offender. Not to poopoo your purchase, but just keep it in mind if you notice something out of the ordinary or get a CEL in the future. It's annoying as hell that we can't trust online vendors to supply genuine parts, but such is...
  11. Hold out for PP2 or buy PP1 -> Track Build

The biggest issue with the PP cars is cooling as GTP points out. Personally, for what you are looking to do, I would strongly consider an M1, potentially the HP. The MR isn't worth it in my opinion. I spent multiple years (And $$$) trying to make it work. A good set of coil overs will get you...
  12. Best fitting headers 2022 GT

Stainless power is chinese made. So that is an easy no for me. Kooks is kind of the standard. SW is good, and what I have. No issues with the install. Well made product.
  13. Clutch master cylinder leak

It's a simple fix with a couple tools. I did mine a month ago. No need for new pedals. Hardest part is finding the current part, as there seems to be few out there. Plenty of -D models available, few -E. But the new one won't look a ton different than that. It took me all of an hour to do, and...
  14. 2017 GT350R spark plug change

Where did you find 8 SP548s for $50? I was today years old when I learned the 18-20 had a tighter gap. Interesting. Now I get to learn why today.
  15. How do you guys actually keep track of everything done to your car?

LOL, I sort of stopped a long time ago. I know in my head what bolts need to be checked. Otherwise if I had to inventory what I have done, I'd probably just have to go look at the car for a few hours and get it listed. Juice really isn't worth the squeeze IMO.
  16. 2019 GT350 Ford Performance Blue Journey and Build

Don't do 20's. It is a performance reduction, more weight, increased unsprung weight, harder on wheel bearings, less options for grippy tires, and IMO, look gaudy.
  17. 201[9 Gt350r. New to car. Vibration issue for track day?

When my car was stock, the only bolts that came loose were the axle nut, which is a known fault. torque those, then paint pen them. It killed a hub for me. Other items are pretty minor, but generally the car doesn't vibrate itself apart. What a lot of people call a vibration caused by the motor...
  18. Purchasing apex wheels for 2019 gt350r

I have two sets of 19x11.5 VS5-RS, and usually have 315 or 325 on the car. You will need camber for those size tires. If you go to a Nankang CRS V2, those don't have the curb protector, so they tuck a bit better. I found a cracked wheel, and Apex has already replaced it. No idea when it...
  19. With or without the pin stripes

Without. There is too much going on with the pin stripes being the same color, it reminds me of those 90s Waldoch vans. Now if you go another color, then with. Also, if you go with a different color, make the pinstripes touch the black. Not sure what color your calipers are, but yellow would...
  20. What are these for?

I thought that was where the chime lived? Seems like an odd spot to put an ambient temp sensor, IIRC, that is right above the drivers right knee.
