  1. Sell vs keep 2020 gt

I'm a guy who keeps his cars. I've got i think 13 of them now. Have a '67 Shelby GT350 bought in 1973. Still have it. Have this 2020 race red PP2. Keeping it. Couple 63 Thunderbirds, 66 Galaxie XL500, 88 Mustang LX Coupe 5.0 and on and on..... Self employed investment adviser 47 years in...
  2. Buyer beware…Steeda CANADA

I recommend to Steeda that they provide as much information regarding transactions with customers - particular to events that can be best described as supply chain management and delivery issues; to determine what the company can control and to advise customers what it does not control. This...
  3. Garage Lifts?

Generally, for height you'll need 11 feet but 12 feet is preferred if you're looking for say 6 feet of clearance under the raised portion but check the manufacturer's guidelines. Too many of these lifts are completely made in China with generally material, components and even safety devices...
  4. Buyer beware…Steeda CANADA

I have been a Steeda customer for about two years. I have read the davbrucas discontent. I have been charged for the thousands of dollars of merchandise I've purchased from Steeda at the date I accept the quotation of the order I make. I found their sales personnel to be most professional and...
  5. Sway bar install help needed.

Potentially the bar is defective. Stress point on the bar is at the ends where the welds are at bar end link mounts. I'd focus on those ends where the bracket for end link mounts are pressed and welded to the bar. It doesn't take much for those welds to break. Particularly if there was...
  6. Waiting...the struggle is real

In early November 2020 - I was you. Only difference being we were all now 7 months into this Covid nightmare but there were about 60 or so Mustang GT Premiums with 401A and the Performance Level 2 packages out there nationally at dealers. And I had to have ebony leather Recaro's indoors and I...
  7. Exhaust Question

Thank you - that's good advice for sure. A closed box with a drop-in is a winner, no doubt. I don't have much access to E85 here so I'm relegated to a 93 tune for now unless someone has a better idea. Thanks again!
  8. Exhaust Question

A bagged S550 I agree is not optimal. I put a 63 T-Bird in Air-Ride with a 4 -link rear and Fat Man lowered spindles on the front and I'm into lowriders.... I have MagneRide on the red Mustang and if I didn't I'd go all out with a complete coilover shock system like J&R shocks or a Multimatics...
  9. Exhaust Question

I love the Magnaflows on my 67 Shelby GT350 with modified custom Hooker Super Comp with 3 1/2" collectors and 3" "X" to those mufflers and continuing on to the 3" (all in 304 stainless) exiting to factory Shelby era-style Tony Branda chrome tips. As for my 2020 PP2 I'm very happy with the 1 -...
  10. PP2 Factory Alignment Specs

As sourced from my 2020 Mustang Factory CD Service Manual......
  11. Any car shows/cruises coming up mid-May?

https://limerock.com/event/royals-garage-car-show-2022/ Not mid May but if you can.... Lime Rock has a Trans Am and SVRA racing event that's worth the trip. Races are Friday and Saturday and the car show is on Sunday.
  12. Tire question

M3incorp - - Now that you point out this fact there's no question that particular to the use of low profile series tires in the 20" and higher wheel sizes you are certainly correct. Thanks for enlightening me. Manufacturers have almost no limits in dialing in performance.
  13. Tire question

By that it means to evaluate a given manufacturer's production sizes identifying tire section width, aspect ratio and wheel diameter... for any given tire application I'm considering just one of the things I do is to know the ranges of sizes available if I am going to use staggered sizes on any...
  14. Tire question

I tend to prefer one size differential between front and rear if you stagger. Two size differential tend not to be a good thing unless you're running a street rod or something like that. My opinion.
  15. Brittany Blue GT500 Heritage real world photos

Great color. I think once you "deprogram" your brain and expectation given last 4 or 5 years of Shelbys..... this color will gather far greater acceptance over time. The '67 Shelby of that color garnered many fans and I think history is going to repeat itself. A variant that I really like...
  16. Shhhhhh

How is the car going to the dealership for inspection? Flatbed? Trailered? Just curious. Anyway for you I'm hoping it's electrical, a sensor(s) issue, control module, relay, fusible link or something similar which hopefully avoided major mechanical. Good luck. Let us know!
  17. Shhhhhh

I suppose there's a lot of quarterbacks here with all sorts of explanations. So here's another guess.... I suspect your engine is not damaged because you took it out after the whatever downshift, overrev, or maybe not ...Becuse you went into neutral....whatever you did...you got back in the car...
  18. Kooks Long Tubes - Looking to go back to stock

Seems to me there are only a few options available. But I think the remove the wife from the equation may appear to be a solution but I'm fairly certain that doing so won't go well.... Not going to comment on the disclosure and whatever representations exist about emissions standards and...
  19. Totaled ?

Yes, expect repairs all told in neighborhood of $10,000.
