  1. Driveways

Scraping is a fact of life with these. As others have said, the splitter is pretty durable. I've bottomed mine out pretty good on one occasion and I had minimal gouging on it to my surprise. As long as you don't smash it into any stop bars or sidewalks you should be fine.
  2. Is Adaptive Cruise Control an option for GT350s?

Yeah, no ACC to be found here. Our cars lack a lot of the bells and whistles because racecar lol
  3. Guess at selling price of GT500 tonight...

Gotcha. So it's more of a "this is an idea of what you're going to get once production starts" than bidding on the physical car itself. I learned something new today. :like:
  4. Guess at selling price of GT500 tonight...

Kinda dumb question, but whoever wins the GT500; do they get to take possession of it immediately, or do they have to wait until it goes into full production to receive the car?
  5. GT350 will live past 2019 with GT500 engine block!

Yeah that's how I interpreted it too. I'm not sure if they have started rolling the 2019's off the line yet, but I feel like they're going to stick these new blocks in for the 2019 YM and hopefully call it quits at the end of this YM cycle. Part of the allure to these cars, (outside of the fact...
  6. California loud exhaust.

I clock 116 at 25 feet wide open, so I guess it's a good thing I don't live in Cali. I'd have tickets up the wazoo. I wish you guys all luck!
  7. GT500 non-carbon wheels

I do like the fact they went with exposed carbon this time around. I'm of the mindset that if you have carbon, why cover it up? I am rather impressed they managed to keep the weight the same even with a much bigger wheel. Do you know if Carbon Revolutions is supplying these bad boys too, or did...
  8. GT500 non-carbon wheels

    Thanks boss.
  9. GT500 non-carbon wheels

Has anyone found pics of the non-carbon wheels? I assume they're going to be similar to the carbon ones, but all the cars I've seen so far have the track pack.
  10. Let's bring a new wheel to market: BBS FI-R

Wouldn't these whistle like hell at speed? Maybe I'm wrong, but they seem like they'd make some kind of noise. Definitely an awesome concept though.
  11. We are fortunate to have a manual!

Just busting your balls man. I know what you meant. I'm rather disappointed in the generation I'm unfortunately grouped with, but I truly believe the phase out of the stick shift is inevitable; whether my generation has any interest in them or not. Government and state regulations are putting a...
  12. We are fortunate to have a manual!

Ouch lol. I mean, I was 23 when I bought my 350. I grew up with a love of cars and taught myself how to drive stick at 16 because nobody would teach me. Several of my cars have been manuals over the years, and all of my friends who remotely like cars all drive stick. I don't think I have a...
  13. Official 2020 Shelby GT500 Mustang Press Release, Specifications, Photos & Videos

I think the low rate of acceleration in that video, specifically, is because they're not giving her all the beans so as not to give away the performance just yet.
  14. Miles When Picked Up From Dealer

    I had 4.2 on mine.
  15. Frank Talk About Headers Requested

Is anyone running kooks or ARH with the ATAK?
  16. Painting Headlights..

How did you reseal your housings? I want to do a few mods to the running lights but I'm worried about messing up the housings.
  17. Is the GT500 announcement expected to impact GT350 prices?

There are a lot of hard core enthusiast and purists that own the GT350 as a capable track car, and I'm not denying that in the slightest. But there's a similarly large crowd that will trade up every time the new car they like comes out because they can, because it's faster, because it's new, and...
  18. 2015 Ecoboost will not start.

2 more questions for you. Does the car allow you to shift into neutral if you have it in "on" mode with the brake depressed? And have you tried starting it in neutral?
  19. Is the GT500 announcement expected to impact GT350 prices?

I understand what you're saying. They are 2 totally different cars, and will likely have 2 different target markets and owners who gravitate to one or the other. One being a flat plane NA track monster, and the other being a supercharged... well we're not totally sure yet. Regardless, the GT500...
  20. Do GT350 Mustang have ticking issues as well?

Some of us do have piston slap which can be a little annoying, but as far as I've seen it's not damaging in any way, just a nuisance. I have it intermittently at idle.
