  1. Splitter Repair?

  2. Voodoo oil catch can. JLT vs UPR

I I got the JLT and slapped it in when I got the car home from the dealer. It does its job well and is a well built product definitely. I'm not sure what catch cans use a check valve, and what the advantage of that would be other than not allowing oil to bypass the can when the reservoir...
  3. 2020 GT500 Will Be Revealed on Jan 14, 2019! Sneak Peek of Supercharged 5.2-Liter Predator Engine

I certainly hope so. I hope Ford lets loose a 700+hp car that absolutely thrashes it's competition and then some, straight out the box and at a reasonable price. However, I also know we live in a pay to play kind of world. You advertise the top and then once people are interested, you drop the...
  4. 2020 GT500 Will Be Revealed on Jan 14, 2019! Sneak Peek of Supercharged 5.2-Liter Predator Engine

I'm not buying into anything 100% yet. Just tossing around some ideas as to why Ford would be drilling us with 700+hp all this time and then release a plaque that drops that down to 650+. I fully understand and appreciate the complexity and cash involved in the car design, testing and...
  5. 2020 GT500 Will Be Revealed on Jan 14, 2019! Sneak Peek of Supercharged 5.2-Liter Predator Engine

Ford may be prepping us for the fact that the GT500 will have multiple power levels depending on trim/options. A GT500 base with ~650hp and an R with the claimed 700+ maybe? Possibly both will have a option package to bump it to full power. I could be way out in left field, but this is something...
  6. 2020 GT500 Will Be Revealed on Jan 14, 2019! Sneak Peek of Supercharged 5.2-Liter Predator Engine

No disrespect, but I think you kinda missed the premise I was getting at. The GT350 was unveiled in 2015, and they had an extremely limited production run of less than 200 units (if I remember correctly) that went to shows, Ford execs, Ford performance, some aftermarket companies, charity...
  7. 2020 GT500 Will Be Revealed on Jan 14, 2019! Sneak Peek of Supercharged 5.2-Liter Predator Engine

Makes me wonder if they're going to pull a full GT350 and have a super limited 2019 or 2020 year model run to get the car out there for testing/review before the "official" production run starts; more or less like they did in 2015 with the GT350.
  8. 2020 GT500 Will Be Revealed on Jan 14, 2019! Sneak Peek of Supercharged 5.2-Liter Predator Engine

May be a 2019 release date for a 2020 year model still... Probably going to be a late 2019 order opening if it does happen to be a 2019 release.
  9. 2020 GT500 Will Be Revealed on Jan 14, 2019! Sneak Peek of Supercharged 5.2-Liter Predator Engine

Update: Mike Levine (Ford North America Product Communications manager) just revealed the 2020 GT500 reveal date of January 14, 2019 at the Detroit Auto Show, on his twitter account. Along with this, Ford teased the date with a sneak peek at the upcoming 2020 GT500's supercharged 5.2-liter...
  10. GT350R Rear Seats?

Just a note for R owners buying seats out of a GT or GT350: You will need to get some extra bolts, nuts and studs to complete the install. They are HT1, HN1 and HS2 and you will need 2 of each. Those are permanently attached/reused in the GT350 and Ford doesn't install them on the R's.
  11. 2018+ digital gauge swap in a gt350?

The stock one will read to 8K, and the difference between 8K and 8250 is minimal. Honestly the redline isn't a deal breaker for me because at 7800+ I'm not looking at the tach. The biggest snag I could see is missing readouts for some of the gauges we have that the GT doesn't. In that respect...
  12. 2018+ digital gauge swap in a gt350?

Has anyone heard/know of someone doing the 2018+ gauge swap in the 350? I see that the 15-17 GT and ecoboost owners are starting to get them swapped pretty easily as plug and play setups are starting to hit the market, but I have no idea if this is even possible/practical for the 350. My various...
  13. Building of the voodoo, nice article

This is pretty awesome to read. Thanks for sharing!
  14. Source For 'R' Grill/Decklid Badge

PartsFarm may have some. They get in a lot of wrecked cars and I'm fairly sure a few R's have passed through there so you may have some luck getting them to pry some R badges off for you. they have a FB page and a website.
  15. 2018 GT 10 speed trans issue

Had this happen on one of my other cars and my issue ended up being the idle was a few hundred rpm high (literally 150 or so) and it would smash into drive/reverse like you were describing. Dropping it back down a little fixed my issue. Not saying this is your issue, but may be something to look...
  16. Thinking I have 2 separate issues?

You have a few options for draining the tank. You can try to siphon it, but as far as I know the Fords have siphon protection through the fill nozzle, but you may be able to work a tube in if you stick it through the little filler funnel down into the tank. The funnel should be located in your...
  17. What's everyone driving this winter?

Welcome to Vermont my friend... I've had snow on the ground here for 2 weeks now.
  18. What's everyone driving this winter?

That car snuggie is pretty awesome. It also kinda reminds my of that feeling you get when you see a nice plump rear in a set of tight yoga pants... except it's a sexy car. Same concept ultimately I guess lol
  19. What's everyone driving this winter?

I got 8 inches of snow this morning... So my GT350 is safely stored away and I'll be rocking the Altima until the end of April.
