Yes it can be but its tricky getting a wrench that fits down in the hole and is big enough to securely hold the lower nut while you tighten the upper screw
I had a similar noise after install. It turned out to be the bolt that holds the strut mount to the strut, the one that just keeps spinning when it gets almost tight, its kind of a pain to get a wrench on but that sounds like your issue
I had the trans mount bushing, I did like it but I couldn't tolerate the dash rattle any longer, mine rattles pretty bad already and the bushing put it over the edge. Nice piece thou for sure
Please post some pics after unpacking before you install if you wouldn't mind. I wont be ordering until til next week. I would like to see a little more than just the main product photo thats available
There is a TSB on Alldata for this problem. Your service department should know this, if they don't maybe mention it to them and specifically direct them to the TSB. There is a list for the tech to follow eventually leading to cam phaser replacement.
yeah they claim initial drop of -.5" in the rear to -3.0" and +1.0" to-3.00" in the front. That sounds like plenty to me, I just want to make sure that the drop is inline with the BC drops I've been seeing. I cant find specs on drop for the BC's other than its alot.
From the research I've done and some of the responses I've gotten i believe ISC will be my choice as long as I can confirm they have the same drop potential as the BC's.
I'm getting ready to pull the trigger on a set of coilovers for my PP GT. I was looking into the bc's but just recently saw that ISC has come out with a comparable setup. I know that both companies are known to be a "bargain" brand but was curious as to which coil would be a better choice. I...
looks good. I did the same thing to my stock grill and blacked out the pony. Looks much cleaner. I also removed the rubber liner from the rear of the hood to let more air escape.
sometimes I smell it while driving. I have a very short commute to work. As soon as I park the car and get it is noticeable. The car has the normal mt nibbles and notches while shifting but often times it gets really bad like the clutch isn't fully engaging. I did the bleed procedure already...
also forget to mention that once the car is warmed up there is a steady and continuous chirping noise coming from the bell housing area..sounds just like a bad tensioner pulley...
I wanted to make a post to get a few opinions on the issues in having with my MT-82. Mine has been problematic since I picked the car up. I have read up a ton on how these are noisy gearboxes and such and noisy I'm fine with....but mine seems to have 12 gears lol. Sometimes the car drives...
