  1. Puddle lights

    Or did the Bullitt logo.
  2. Things Ford Shouldn't Have Cheaped Out On.

And what is with the cheap plastic on the doors? I've got a dimple in the plastic already from leaning my elbow on it. The Ford Flex I just rented has the same thing.
  3. Things Ford Shouldn't Have Cheaped Out On.

Definitely that all cars are cost compromises. The S Class Mercedes used the cheapest, plastic door lock knobs imaginable. Seriously, they were really cheap plastic, and you could still see the flash from the molds on them. This was the first thing you saw on a $100k + car when you opened the...
  4. 2019 Mustang Bullitt exhaust note

Mine turns 4 months old, now with 23,000 km on it (almost 15,000 miles), so yes I've had a lot of seat time. The exhaust in normal is fine for commuting. I do find track mode does get a bit annoying at 70-75 mph highway speeds, but changing that is an easy fix. I do wish they would have put a...
  5. Things Ford Shouldn't Have Cheaped Out On.

I guess I got lucky there. My paint finish is pretty good, though definitely not perfect. I even survived the usual orange peel covered rear quarters that I've seen so many have. They guy who did my paint correction and ceramic coating said it's a razor thin layer of paint on there. Not...
  6. Steeda McQueen 20” Wheels... available!!!!

Yup. Just found the other thread lower down that explained that. And yes, I am considering the McQueen edition. :)
  7. Things Ford Shouldn't Have Cheaped Out On.

I do realize that Ford put a heck of a lot of value into our cars. The Coyote is a hell of an engine. Not too long ago, it would have been serious, big dollar exotic car stuff. The suspension, the structure, etc. Is really solid and basically well designed. Magnaride is magic. However, driving...
  8. My butt-time in a Bullitt

Good to know. I remember being surprised when I saw that it came with 3.73s. Then I was shocked at how tall the gearing is anyhow. I've actually cruised around town some in first gear. Never been able to do that in a car before. And second gets me nicely over the speed limit.
  9. Steeda McQueen 20” Wheels... available!!!!

Kind of an odd move selling the exact McQueen edition wheels in my opinion. It's the major differentiator between it and the regular Bullitt. Kinda makes the $20k upgrade seem less special now.
  10. Long Term Reliability

Man, those are a lot cheaper then Canada. The 8 year, 200,000 km (120,000 mile) warranty was over $5000 at my dealer.
  11. For those who traded a vehicle you loved, for an S550, was it worth it?

I traded in my 2014 Challenger RT for my Bullitt. I loved that car and did a lot of driving with it. Literally all the way across North America. It was a different beast the the Mustang. Not as much fun, but the better highway GT car. More refined and relaxed for those 12 hour driving days.
  12. Steeda McQueen Edition Available in Canada?

    Thanks! Looking forward to it.
  13. Expected Clutch Life

Interesting. What would you consider to be a much better upgrade?
  14. Steeda McQueen Edition Available in Canada?

Thanks, TJ. I may have to go pay it a visit. My only other thought is how do you insure something like that up here. The insurance companies I've dealt with are not enthusiastic about modded cars. I get this isn't just a modded car. You guys are almost a manufacturer. Are there any Steeda...
  15. Steeda McQueen Edition Available in Canada?

It's $20k US for the "basic" conversion. Which is $27k Canadian right about now. Ouch. Any idea what the installation cost would be? Yeah, HST, at 13% in Ontario, is never a good thing. Duties should be a non-issue, as they are a US manufacturer. As long as they make their stuff in the US...
  16. 7000 mile update.

Thanks, guys. I tried it, and it does indeed work. A great tip!
  17. Steeda McQueen Edition Available in Canada?

Anyone know if the McQueen Edition is available in Canada? I reached out to Steeda a week ago, and got nothing but crickets.
  18. Dark Highland Green

I do wish I could find a wheel I loved, in 19 inch. Everything I'm really liking is a 20.
  19. The 2 fastest mustangs I have ever owned

I’m actually thinking ordering a GT350 to go with my Bullitt. My Bullitt would be the daily driver/office. GT350 the weekend toy. What do you prefer about the Bullitt on the road?
  20. Dark Highland Green

Lol. Yup. I can’t see a difference! Btw, I do love those wheels. I know it’s sacrilege to change wheels on a Bullitt, but your car looks great.
