  1. Dark Highland Green

It is a fantastic colour. In an era where folks are afraid to get a car that isn’t black, white, silver or grey, in particular it looks fantastic. It’s nice to bring some colour back to this increasingly monochrome world.
  2. 7000 miles and I finally learned to shift my car

What does it do for the weight of the clutch pedal, asks the guy who sits in traffic 2 hours a day.
  3. 7000 mile update.

I used the live in St. Petersburg for a few years, so I remember that well. About May 15 to October 15, it was brutal. Then 7 months of paradise.
  4. 7000 mile update.

Good tip! Thanks, i,'ll give that a try.
  5. Expected Clutch Life

Thanks. I do get that. Most of my driving is highway, so my clutch should last pretty well. It doesn't seem that the clutch is particularly short lived or problematic in these guys anyway.
  6. 7000 mile update.

I found it a pretty big jump over the lower tier GTs I drove too. Magneride, in particular, is pure magic. Now if they could just do something about the driveline clunks...
  7. 7000 mile update.

Only 10,480? You've got some driving to do! :) The plan is to drive Toronto to California in September. I'm guessing I'll take a pretty commanding lead after that.
  8. 7000 mile update.

I do notice when I don't have them on, but I'd expect at level three, I'd get cold after a while, and I don't. I'm a large frame, 6.4, so it's not as if a lot of air is circling around me from the seat.
  9. Expected Clutch Life

Yes, I did search first. :) My apologies if this had been discussed somewhere first, but I was curious to know what kind of clutch life I should expect from my Bullitt. I know there are about a million variables that can effect it, but I'm curious to see how other folks have done. Thanks!
  10. C8=S650 Tell Ford What You Want

They did take federal funds. They certainly upgraded plants in Mexico.
  11. C8=S650 Tell Ford What You Want

Agreed. And it works great at that.
  12. 7000 mile update.

Yeah, I’ll be doing that soon. Thanks for the reminder. I’ll have to get one ordered.
  13. 7000 mile update.

Oh, and the stupid horn sounds like ass. Really, Ford?
  14. 7000 mile update.

In less then 2 months, I’ve put 7000 miles on my new Bullitt. It’s mostly been an absolute blast. But like with all cars, there are positives and negatives. So far for me they are: Positives: Coyote is a fantastic engine. Silly amounts of power. Insane how the engine just keeps getting stronger...
  15. C8=S650 Tell Ford What You Want

Keep it manual. And a real manual with a clutch pedal. Lose the black wheels. That style is as tired as a mullet. Keep at least one naturally aspirated engine. Keep the Voodoo alive.
  16. Why did you buy your Bullitt?

God, I love that car. Just perfect.
  17. First things to do?

Ok. But the new one had notably less chrome trim then the original. If in the original, you mean the one in the movie. The latest is a more subtle take on the original. If you mean the 2001, as the original Bullitt replica, I'd say the 19 has less bling, as the 2001 had the horse, badges on...
  18. On My Way to Pick Up My New Bullitt

The number I have in my head is $2k a set. Am I far off?
