Does that open the door for the stealership to not cover any aspect of the powertrain warranty up to 5yr/60k or is it still otherwise intact? I can't foresee having any "tune related" issue without additional performance mods and if there was, you would think someone could just have them flash...

Guess I was more concerned with the 5/60k powertrain warranty.

Thx TicToc. Hopefully some local Stang performance shop is doing them on the cheap since any ASE tech can "certify" it. Still unclear on the warranty sitch after reading, but seems like covered as factory would do, hopefully all the way through stock powertrain warranty.

Thanks! Thinking the extra cost of the FP tune can be considered as insurance. I'm just wondering where to get one and how to finagle a dealership to certify it cheaply, as well as ensuring it retains the full factory 60k mi. warranty. Guess I'll make some calls next week.
